The reviews on the boarding, food, restaurants are absolutely accurate. My partner has a condition related to thrombosis and 5 hours stood in a boarding que did her no favours, she is still struggling on return home. The food was beyond AWFUL - by far the worst on any cruise I’ve ever been on. There was very little choice on the menus compared to Princess cruises which we are used to. MSC need to up their game big time. The food in the MDR’s was lukewarm and just slapped on the plate. There was no attempt at presentation whatsoever. We felt like we were eating in a canteen.

We are highly disappointed and feel cheated out of our money. I feel like MSC should’ve canceled the cruise due to coronavirus outbreak as we didn’t visit any ports outside of UAE. Chose this cruise because it visited a lot of cities I have on my to do list. But sadly this is like a hospital ship. Brothel red style rooms, hospital food (really really bad) and zero energy. Travelers of a certain age, which is the majority, seem to enjoy this hospital/nursing home ship, but if you are not 70+ yet i suggest you avoid at all costs.

I have never ever experienced something so bad. MSC has so much to learn. You pay all this money and get nothing but bad, rude staff. Asked to pay extra for ALL activities. I made this cruise with MSC and never had such a bad experience. I reported my complaints at MSC and the even refused a compensation!!!!!!
The transfer was a mess, the embarkation was very bad.
I booked an Aurea Suite(!) no window to open nor a balcony. I asked for a swap but was told off by the receptionist.
