Loved the variety of ports offered on this cruise. Abu Dhabi to Abu Dhabi, including Dubai and Mumbai and Goa.all different and exciting in their own way. The New Year overnight tour in Dubai was fabulous, from Jeep riding over the dunes, camel ride to a Bedouin camp and dinner the Bedouin way. The tents were extremely comfortable.

Embarkation was a breeze-just 10 mins. Then we were welcomed onboard with champagne on a red carpet. We felt we were treated like royalty!.

Prior to the embarking the cruise we arrived in Abu Dhabi a few days in advance to beat jet lag (long flight from Canada). We stayed at the Southern Sun Abu Dhabi, and loved it. As most Constellation cruisers knew, the Ship was heading to Barcelona for refit and refurbishment (Solsticizing) in May, 2017.
That being said there was no evidence of significant crew painting since in just a few months it would probably have a needed major sandblasting and rust removal.
This did not affect the itinerary and all ports of call that we visited were unique.

We have cruised a number of times before with Celebrity but this was our first cruise on the Constellation. Although it is an older ship it seemed in decent condition. The only problem we had was a non flushing toilet which was soon repaired.
Our cabin 7114 was a balcony. We found the cabin to be clean and comfortable. Our cabin attendant was excellent.

We did this cruise simply to get out of the UK weather and enjoy the quality of Celebrity's accommodation and food.
