This was a family vacation with my boyfriend's family. Before we left we stayed in Orlando and hung out there and shopped. Arriving and leaving was better than flying and dealing with TSA. I found security to be way better with the cruise line. I enjoyed our room and the ship. I was glad to have an adapter for charging things with me. We only had one outlet in the room. We had the best servers for my time dining. I wanted to take my team home with me. They remembered us and called us by our names from day one. The ice skating show was nice. I enjoyed the comedians that were provided. The ports were lots of fun but next time I see that we go I will not take an excursion that takes two hours to reach the destination. The travel for one excursion ate up the majority of our trip. I would definitely go again. I actually have a disability that the staff was wonderful working with I never felt like it was a problem and I had a blast. Read Less

This was our first cruise on Royal Caribbean and probably our last. The ship was having mechanical issues and we did not get notified until the day we were going to board the ship. All of our ports got changed and we had to stay in the Bahamas for 2 days. We had to stand in line for 21/2 hours to board the ship with very long lines. While talking to others in line, Royal Carribean knew that their was a problem earlier because people were telling us that their excursions were cancelled a week ago. We booked our excursions through private companies so it left me scrambling to cancel reservations and book new excursions from my cell phone while waiting in line. They should have informed us earlier that we would not be going to St Thomas and St Marteen, but I'm sure they did not want to deal with all the phone calls and complaints. I was expecting the food to be better then it was. The buffet was not very good, and the pizza at Sorrento's was usually dried out and like cardboard. The dining room food was a little better. I will say this, Our servers Rouge and Madel were awesome probably the best thing about the cruise! As for me I like Carnival better, they had more of a selection of places to eat that are open more hours. They really need to dry dock this boat and get it fixed. You could really feel the vibration from the broken blade and it is in need of some updating especially new carpet. Overall very disappointed I was expecting much more. Read Less

This cruise was set to go to Coco cay St Thomas and St Marrten However 9 pm the night before we were sent an e mail at 9 pm saying there was a technical issue and the itenerary was changed. We went to Nassau for 2 days of ship repairs meaning we had to cut the blades of the main propeller off because of a main bearing issue that has plagued the ship since it was built. After this we went to Cozumel which was the only port that had an open slot that week RCL made it sounded like it happened the night before however the Captian spilled the beans and said they had know longer because they were looking for a port the week previous. The food and service was horrible on this ship and we hate to say this because we are loyal RCL cruisers. This is the short verion I can go on with the series of mishap and adventures. I will say my parents are going on the same ship and itenerary today Dec 14 and they were call last night late with the same song and dance as we got. This kind of bad business practice RCL has adopted is starting to get them the same reputation as Carnival Read Less

My daughter and son-in-law decided on this cruise for their honeymoon, then asked everyone who could to join them. About 15 of us took them up on the offer and we had a wonderful time. Out cabins ranged from outside cabins to junior suites, and everyone raved about the clean and spacious rooms and friendly service they enjoyed from the ship's crew. The ship was large enough to be on your own if you wanted quiet time, but small enough to be able to find others in the group if they wanted to be found. While "the kids" enjoyed the rock climbing wall, miniature golf, and boogie boards, the "older folk" enjoyed the pools, hot tubs, and sunning on deck -- not to mention all of the great food, entertainment, bars, and the casino. We made sure we checked out the buffet and dining rooms daily and ate an exquisite meal at the steakhouse one evening. We also took advantage of several excursions on our shore days, ranging from beach outings, to dolphin and stingray swims, to salsa, salsa, salsa lessons. One offering I would recommend to everyone is the cabin-to-home airport luggage service. Nothing like not worrying about your bags until you're home at the baggage carousel. I would recommend this cruise to adult groups such as ours or for families, as the smiles on the faces of the little ones on board as they interacted with the Madagascar characters was heartwarming. Well done, RCL! Read Less
