Infinite Balcony is a major FAIL

Review for Celebrity Edge to Caribbean - Western

User Avatar

The ship is beautiful. The cabin is luxurious. The food was great and the entertainment above average. The Infinite Balcony is a gimmick that I consider a TOTAL FAIL. I am an early riser while my wife likes to sleep a bit later. It was impossible for me to have a cup of coffee on the balcony because of the high noise factor in converting from the extended (closed balcony) configuration ...

Review for Serenade of the Seas to Alaska

We disembarked yesterday evening and much has been very good. My husband and I are celebrating our 11 year anniversary, having waited through Covid (we *were* wanting to do our 10 year to Alaska last August, but alas). Mostly we’re looking forward to reading, relaxing, watching movies, and maybe do some hiking at the ports (we can’t splurge on any excursions, unfortunately). Honestly, just a ...

Lovely room but service and food really bad

Review for Regal Princess to Europe - British Isles & Western

Chose princess as not tried them before. We have sailed with p and o and royal Caribbean. Maybe our expectations were high but this ship just is not ready for the British stay cations. The menu for the restaurants is very small and the quality very poor. Mind you if you like McDonald's breakfast you should be in for a treat, as I think the buffer restaurant is based around that. The service ...

Royal Comeback Cruise

Review for Freedom of the Seas to Bahamas

We had a junior suite so we bypassed a very long line. They uploaded our vaccine cards and passports and we were on the ship within 10 minutes with our vaccine bracelets that we had to wear at all times. We used the Royal app and reviewed the muster drill on it so as soon as we boarded they sent us to the muster station to go over a few things and then gave us a sticker to put on our sea pass card ...

Review for Britannia to Europe - British Isles & Western

I booked this cruise because it matched up with when I could travel. As i was using the CPS parking, I had to go to the Mayflower Terminal for a Covid test. This took about 2 hours, most of that was waiting in a queue. Although it took a long time, the process worked smoothly and was very well organised. After my test I drove to the Ocean Terminal and waited for the car to be checked in. ...

Wasn't Expecting Much, Recieved Even Less Than That

Review for Grand Classica to Bahamas

I've sailed on this ship before, about 3 years ago so I knew not to expect too much. My first cruise with them wasn't all that bad, but nowhere near the quality of the main stream lines. I went again this time because I had a cruise with them canceled because of Covid which they refused to refund my money on, so I was stuck with a cruise credit. So, I decided to just go anyway. I've taken 35 ...

Princess restart - Majestic Princess 7/25/21

Review for Majestic Princess to Alaska

We wanted to be part of the Princess restart and we wanted to visit Alaska again. The crew, staff, and ports of call could not have been more accommodating, welcoming, or appreciative of the passengers! Since we had had completed the “Ocean Ready” process on the new Princess Medallion application our embarkation could not have been smoother or quicker! We showed our passports, Covid ...

We are a limited capacity cruise with 64% of capacity on board ! Never once did we feel unsafe on this cruise and with a year and a half to prepare, the ship was spotless. The only way you knew you were in a covid environment was at the buffet as we were served. The crew were genuinely happy to see us and greet us. Not the canned kind, these had the glint in their eyes that you ...

Review for Celebrity Equinox to Caribbean - Eastern

We were so ready to sail again! This cruise will move me from Elite to Elite Plus. Disclaimer: This is a less than favorable review. I am the person who usually praises and encourages... We are very happy with the welcome back and the enthusiasm of the crew. It is the new marketing and hype of Always Included that we are unhappy with. Internet: Being Elite we have previously made do ...
