The cabin was okay, but the water leak from the far corner was not expected. We had to leave the room while heater fans sucked up the moisture most of the day.

Very nice location. Typical HAL Room. Had a bit of a problem with the air conditioning not cooling enough, but they promptly looked into it and fixed it right away!

Liked the Size of the Zaandam By: coloradocruser
Clean room. Looks like a newer carpet. Window with full view nothing blocking view. Quiet below and above and sides. Had lots of closets with loads of hangers. Good location not far from elevator. Clean bathroom with shower in the tub. Tub has a mat so you don't slip. Love seat in room. Good lighting. Stewards excellent. Very plush bath robes. Had nice towels also. This would be a good room. It is center location and low so good if you tend to get sea sick.

Nice week in Mexico By: off280
Quiet with nice bathroom and large window. Heard noise below the cabin as they were staging cargo on the last evening.

Cabin 2536

The cabin is slightly forward with easy access to the elevators. We were rocking and rolling with the ship but it didn't feel any worse than other areas on the ship. We occasionally would hear some clanging up above but it didn't last long. We are, however, fairly sound sleepers. We had one minor problem with our heating/AC unit: two drips appeared one afternoon. We called the front desk and someone was there in less than 5 minutes (just as we were leaving). By the time we got back to our room, all was fixed and Raz was wiping everything down. We weren't inconvenienced in the slightest but we received an apology note and gift from Guest Relations. The service was above and beyond what I'd expect.

HAL missed the boat By: clickchick
Very spacious ocean view room! Small TV, no fridge, comfy bed, next to the elevators and stairs (minimal walking, but still quiet). There was a periodic banging at night outside of our room on the exterior of the ship, but not unbearable. Would recommend!

Awesome Alaskan cruise! By: dclcruiser71
Tons of storage space, do not forget to look under the bed for two large drawers and in the ottoman for even more!  Able to store 8 pieces of lugage and still have 4 closets to put clothing in.  Easy to find, quiet. Bed very nice!  Loved it!

Great location, plenty of storage, comfortable bed, uncomfortable 3rd sofa bed. Excellent service from the cabin stewards.
