Voyager of the Seas - Bermuda

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Voyager of the Seas

Having cruised extensively with different lines, I found that this cruise was fantastic. The Windjammer was a zoo on embarkation, but that has been my experience on any cruise that I haven't been in the first group of people to get onboard. The Voyager was the nicest ship I've been on, not by far, but just for what is offered onboard, not that I did everything available, but I was glad the ...

The dining average rating is brought up by Portofino. The food was very good and the service was excellent. Based on the negative feedback from other passengers, we never set foot in the dining room. The buffet was OK to better-than-OK. Service was OK, but most of the staff seemed disorganized, stand-offish and, at times, disinterested. The ship was too large for our tastes. Interestingly, ...

This was our 8th cruise, second on Royal Caribbean. We traveled as a family of 4, 2 girls aged 11 and 14 and 3 other of my daughters friends aged 14-16. We used the free shuttle from LI and were picked up at 1:30 pm and made 2 stops. Got to the boat at 4:30, so no one was still waiting to get on board. It was late, but the convenience of getting there was worth it. All shops and bars closed at 5 ...

Overall, this cruise (our 4th on RCCL), was usual Royal Caribbean fare. Nice ship, good food, friendly staff and no surprises. We booked this cruise through an Internet agency and never had a better experience. Embarking- Since we live 25 miles from Bayonne, this was easy for us to get to,however, once you get to the entrance of Cape Liberty, you are greeted by old buildings, even older roadways ...

Overall I was very disappointed with the 7/24 cruise that we took on the Voyager of the Seas. We arrived at Cape Liberty, NJ only to find out as we were checking in that the cruise was not going to Bermuda as scheduled, but instead was being re-routed to Canada (due to an anticipated weather problem in Bermuda). We were traveling with neighbors who had never been to Bermuda and were really ...

This was our 13th cruise, 2nd to Bermuda, 6th on RCI, and 2nd on Voyager. Embarkation was a breeze, thanks in part to our new status of Platinum Crown & Anchor member which gave us to priority check in. We arrived at 1:30 and were in our cabin before 2:00. Surprisingly there were no annoying photographers at boarding! We were first on VOS in 2000 and the ship is still in excellent shape...no ...

My husband and my 6yr old son have been looking forward to this cruise for almost a year. We booked it early so that we could have our families and friends have time to sign up! As of 10:30 am on Sunday morning, both the web site and the customer service representative I spoke with told us that as of that time (10:30am) they had NOT made any changes. When a van of 12 arrived at Cape Liberty the ...

This was my husband and myself second Royal Caribbean cruise, and the first for our two children , ages 10 and 14. We had a fantastic time. This was our first time on a ship the size of The Voyager of the Seas and the ship is simply amazing. We took the 5 night trip to Bermuda on July 10, 2005. It was too short but we had fun from the minute we stepped on board till we left. Thanks to all the ...

Although the weather report posted on this web site of July 24th said that TS Franklin was no threat, RCCL thought that it was. The ship's destination was altered at noontime the day of sailing. Instead of a warm, albeit rocky day at sea, and beautiful pink beaches of Bermuda, the decision was made to send us NORTH to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Average temp. in the Am 42-48 degrees F with gale ...
