First time in a Royal Caribbean ship I was impressed never a dull moment always something to do or not if that was your choosing. The staff where always very accommodating and generally where having as much fun as the passengers. Embarkation and disembarkation was very smooth especially being able to board earlier than expected having flown in overnight. The entertainment on board was ...

We were a party of six. Four ladies have never cruised before but they are absolutely converted to cruising. We started at circular quay in Sydney, and were surprised at the lineup to get into the boat however this moved rather quickly and efficiently and, as two of us had cruised before, with gold level we got straight on with the others having to wait at least 45 minutes to get their photo ...

As always when embarking in Sydney it was quick and the whole process took 30 minutes. Once on board you are officially on Holidays. I have noticed that in other reviews it is mentioned about the " Heavy" up sell on Drink packages and Dinning etc Yes there are staff out selling Packages but I found a polite no did the trick. It's not like they chase you down the deck. Once on we tradionally ...

This was our first Royal Caribbean cruise. We booked an obstructed balcony, junior suite. We loved the cabin, it was spacious, with a great balcony. Although I didn't really enjoy the daytime activities, I'm not much into trivia, overall I had a fantastic time. A highlight was the adult only spa/swimming pool region. I enjoyed the multiple bars, the music, and entertainment. The street parties ...

We stayed at The Rocks ( Rendezvous ) prior to boarding. A great location. Embarkation and Disembarkation in Sydney both went smoothly with minimal fuss. Once on board we went exploring because it was our first time on the Voyager. Set up was a little similar to the Radiance except on a larger scale. Had a light lunch at the Promenade Café , which we also used for most breakfasts and ...

I chose this cruise just to get away for a week break; i enjoyed the trip very much, i have travelled on this boat a year earlier & found it to be a bit noisy but some people like that bustle, however the trade-0ff is the entertainment was excellent, the ice-show is brillant, i cant say much higher praise than that, the shows in the theatre were great & the musos around the boat were very good. ...

Enjoyable cruise in every way.

Thoroughly enjoyed the cruise in every way. The food was adequate and the service always professional. DINING - I personally didn't enjoy the nightly parades in the main dining room and the interruption to the flow of the meal. I would prefer a farewell parade at the end of the cruise only. I did not enjoyed being forced to share a table every evening. It was difficult to find somewhere on ...

Penny pinching experience

RCI do not tell you before you go that you have to pay for many of the activities on board. We had a eight night cruise on a tired ship that had been remodelled four years ago to give extra rooms and take away activity areas as well as fitting hard beds . The overall experience was at best six out of ten and the smoking areas were appalling as there were many children in with the smokers ie on the ...

Needed a short break & this fit the bill; I rate RC very highly, we have cruised 4x in last few years with RC & never disappointed. Meals & food were excellent, breakfast in restaurant fruit, salmon benedict washed down with brewed coffee a good reason to get out of bed. Dinner was very good, most nights salmon with sides, staff were excellent, very attentive & looked like they wanted to be ...

Wanted to try a larger ship as travelled many times on RCL. Well despite the negativity I have read, it was not applicable. Fabulous ship, excellent memories made with lots of new and exciting friendships which I am certain will blossom beyond this sailing. Embarkation – Quick speedy and efficient. Porters were waiting on the right side for bag drop off, on entry quick health form ...
