poor if you want to retire early noise from the Centrum and the door exiting and entering the Centrum until the early hours of the morning with a myriad of languages being spoken loudly with no consideration of other cruises sleeping Read entire member review >>
Cabin was ample size for two people and located directly adjacent to the Centrum and "R-bar" making the location ideal. Though we were the FIRST room on the hallway outside these public areas, noise was never a problem at all. Read entire member review >>
I was impressed by the space in the cabin! Queen-sized bed by the window was comfy; as were the pillows. I am a pillow-hog so the 4 pillows were great! It was nice to wake up to sunlight and watching the waves was cool! Read entire member review >>
The cabin was much what you expect on a cruise ship. We had an ocean view on the port side which was nice when in ports. Though an older ship the cabin was clean and neat. I like the location of our cabin for dining and disembarking, though nothing to too far or hard to get to from this room. This was my first ocean view room and my husband was glad that the black out curtains allowed him to sleep during the day. The bed was very comfortable. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was always clean!!!! There was always a new animal to welcome us back to the cabin!!! We had great person there for us cleaning and taking care of us!!! Thanks!!! Read entire member review >>
On this voyage, our problems began with the "actuality" of what Royal Caribbean’s travel consultant told us was a large ocean view stateroom. I am familiar with staterooms on various ships but was flabbergasted to see a 16” hole through which to see ANYTHING you have to stand directly in front of it on the bed–-hardly what I would call a “LARGE OCEAN VIEW”!!! I was willing to pay anything extra to correct this. When I asked to change cabins, I was told no others were available.
Our “stateroom” was directly across from the crew’s ice maker/supply room where service carts and soiled room-service trays were stacked through all hours of the day and night, with their accompanying noise.
The cruise did not start out well. Upon trying to unpack, one drawer fell completely off it’s rollers and hit me on the foot. A second fell off its rollers onto the floor to reveal a pair of women’s panties from some prior guest, dust bunnies the size of softballs, and medications likewise abandoned in the nightstand by a prior guest, yet to be discovered by our less than conscientious cabin attendant.
When I related my dissatisfaction, she burst into laughter. Observing that I didn’t share her humor, she called maintenance and made the necessary repairs. This describes an hour and a half of day one.
Throughout the cruise, invitations to special club events were thrown about the stateroom, rather than laid in a place of prominence where they would be noticed. We missed one event entirely because the invitation was buried. As we disembarked, she (I have to say deliberately) failed to leave a Customs Declarations form which we did not realize until we were in the debarkation lines on deck. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was spacious and although the picture window was usually wet, we could see out of it. The cabin had a loveseat and small table along with the vanity and chair. There were plenty of hanger and places for storage. I don't like shower curtains, but the bathroom was the usual small size with shampoo, conditioner and soap bars provided--no lotion. It was clean and quiet. Read entire member review >>
Disabled cabin was good size with good sized bathroom. Decor was a little tired. Room attendant was very good. It was freezing. Reported it to maintenance but was told there was no problem. They didn't tell me what the room temperature was. I couldn't sit in it, I had to climb into bed if I was in the cabin for any length of time. Read entire member review >>
The cabin would have been great without the pack and play in there, but babies need some place to sleep, how dare they!
While it was tight in there it was a great, efficient, clean room.
Plus our room steward was amazing. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was nice, and had all the amenities we needed. My only complain was the shower. It had a shower curtain instead of the glass doors. I have heard some complaints about noise, from the Centrum, but I didn't experience it myself. I think the entertainment stopped at 12:00, and I was in bead after that time. Once while getting ready for dinner I was in the shower and could hear very slight music from the Centrum, but it was just above a whisper. The doors are so heavy it does a great job of reducing noise. The large panoramic view windows were great. It felt almost as big as a balcony suite, at half the price, :) Read entire member review >>
Since this was a back to back cruise, we had to change staterooms. Week 1 - 7088. Week 2 - 7084. Both rooms were good sizes with a panoramic window. Both of us are tall so the closets are not arranged for long shirts, blouses and suits. There are three shallow closets. One closet is configured to hang short items and held shelves for other folded clothes. This was good for most of our day clothes. Another closet was for long hanging items. Since we has dresses, slacks, suits, and dress shirts, this closet was a bit crowded. The last closet was divided in half for hanging items but was short for our needs. The both room seemed slightly bigger than on other ships for a similar category. Our stateroom attendant was outstanding especially during the move. This area of the ship was quiet and convenient to stairs, elevators, and watching Centrum activities from up high. Would book this category again! Read entire member review >>
We were in a Panoramic View Outside stateroom. It was larger than a standard ocean view with more storage and a full size couch. The view was great. Since the cruise was a bit rough, we spent a bit more time in the cabin than usual...napping and reading. We were very glad we booked this stateroom! Read entire member review >>
The room had a king bed, 2 night stands, flat screen tv, couch that can convert to 2 beds and a large panoramic window with a great view. Nice closets. Downfall is a shower curtain and not a shower door. The entire ship has shower curtains. The curtain will stick to you at times. Floor never vacuumed. Read entire member review >>
This Cabin is just fine for us. We like being down below. It is fairly quiet away from engine noise. Away from the elevators. Only a couple times did we notice footsteps from above or laughter from the room next to us. We did not hear the anchor drop. We had no problems with plumbing or thing needing repair. The couch was comfy for it's style. The TV needs replacing. It is time for flat screen and access to our account. There is sufficient storage, but we travel light so I know for some this would not be enough. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was adequate. Shower was much too small. Storage in bathroom was good. Closet small, but adequate for 10 day trip.TV was old, probably the same one when I was on this ship 11 years ago Read entire member review >>
This cabin was a disappointment in that it was less roomy than expected and the overhead noise was very distracting, especially at night when trying to sleep. It sounded as if furniture was being moved every evening and a lot of partying activities were held in the Centrum which was located directly above this cabin. I don't recall ever experiencing such a noisy environment. Read entire member review >>
RCI and our travel agent both promised that our large oceanview (F) cabin would contain comfortable seating for two. The photos all showed a small couch and we inquired about our specific cabin and we were assured that it would contain one. The cabin actually had a single chair. After much complaining they did provide a metal chair for one of us to sit in while in the cabin, not comfortable at all. Royal Caribbean's advertising is definitely misleading in the respect of cabin amenities and their attitude is "too bad, that's what we gave you..." Read entire member review >>
