Wonderful Cruise
"The description mentioned "to observe a demonstration on how to prepare mozzarella cheese".Since it mentioned it was on a farm, I assumed that I'll see the steps of making of mozzarella cheese, from milk to cheese, and also get to taste the freshly made mozzarella cheese but that wasn't the case...."Read More

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Viking Neptune

We chose the Viking Panama Canal 16 day cruise because of the opportunity for extended sea days mixed with South American tropical ports of call. This itinerary afforded us ample time aboard to take advantage of multiple Nordic Spa days, daily promenade walks at sunrise, sunsets on our veranda and star lite nights. Quiet times to sunbath with a good book or reflect upon the soul stirring live ...

I would like to start out this review with I love Viking! This is our 4th Viking cruise, and we have always had excellent food, excellent service, and great cabins. Foodwise, on the Neptune we ate in both specialty restaurants, excellent menus and food. The Chefs Table was an incredible oriental set of pairings that we very much enjoyed. Manfredi’s was more than you could eat pure Italian ...

In true Viking style, our cruise was wonderful. All the staff were excellent. The ship was always clean. The food was abundant and delicious. You can’t go wrong with Viking. The staff were constantly cleaning all areas of the ship. We never felt like 900 people were on the ship since there are so many areas you can sit and visit. We did a behind the scenes tour which was very interesting and ...

Amazing Experience

As as a first time cruiser, I was unsure of what to expect. In my opinion, Viking exceeded all expectations. The ship was absolutely beautiful and impeccably clean. Every aspect was meticulous - warm and friendly staff genuinely happy to provide excellent service. Food options were plentiful, from casual to elegant. Our stateroom was small but more than comfortable; plenty of closet and ...

We have cruised many times before but never on Viking. It was an unbelievable experience. Every need was met, the staff was so friendly and helpful. Our room steward was so great. Anything we needed was taken care of very quickly. It was not crowded and we never waited in line for anything. The excursions were top notch, so well run and efficient. The ship was spotless and the food was phenomenal. ...

Mediterranean Bucket List Cruise

We selected this cruise because of the itinerary. We visited 6 countries and got a taste of the Mediterranean so we can return to our favorite places. Viking has always been a favorite cruise line for us...so inclusive. We never have a balance on our account at the end of the cruise because so much is included. We did not purchase the Silver Beverage package and had plenty of wine and beer. ...

Compare to other cruise ships we took in the past; Viking is head and shoulders above all other cruise ships. Including best customer service (they even remember our names), cleanliness of stateroom and the entire ship, 5-star services in all restaurants, bars on the ship and stateroom. In addition to the excellent services, the food was spectacular. To serve so many people every day and ...

Delightful cruise

We wanted a trip with interesting ports, not too many sea days, and a medium sized ship. This fit the bill. The ship itself is wonderful! Even our lower-priced stateroom had a small balcony. It was comfortable, well appointed and conveniently located. There were plenty of comfy spaces to hang out on the ship with a book or a drink, or both. I loved the infinity pool! It's small, but very ...

Viking Ocean Cruise - Trade Routes of the Middle Ages

We had previously taken an eight day cruise of the Mediterranean with Viking. That cruise was the first cruise we had ever taken. We were so happy and impressed by that cruise, that we decided we wanted to do another, but for a longer duration, as soon as it was over. We chose the Trade Routes of the Middle Ages for our second cruise based on the ports visited (we love all of Europe, but ...

From the time we were met in Oslo at the start of our pre-cruise venture through Norway to Bergen, from which the ship would depart, to the day we walked down the gangway in Barcelona at disembarkation, Viking people were always cooperative and helpful. Viking Neptune was gorgeous, well designed for function and comfort, kept in immaculate condition. Our itinerary was interesting and varied. ...
