A friend recommended Uniworld to me and I'm glad he did. What a wonderful experience it was.
The boat, the staff, the food, the scenery - everything exceeded my expectations.
And you could be as active or laid back as you desired. I started each day joining the exercise class on the top deck. There were daily walking tours of the local town or village where we were moored, a strenuous hike ...
We chose Uniworld as it is ranked at a very high standard in Luxury . All the best cruise’s lines River or Sea are expensive and we have done many invoking Silversea and Seaborne.
The boat is decorated in a French themed design and we felt it made it very dark . The cabin French Balcony was so small we were shocked when we walked in . We also can compare this to an Amareina cruise we did two ...
Always wanted to visit the Normandy beaches & we got to a day after the anniversary. Uniworld did it exceptionally well with the Cruise Manager organising 103 white roses for guest to lay at the memorial or on Omaha beach. Very emotional esp with a live bugler brought in - even though I am from NZ still was amazing to be apart of. Well planned and certainly well paced itinerary. The crew were ...
Basel to Amsterdam…an area we had not explored…last time on Uniworld was 2008….much improved since then, the cabin was a suite on Princess deck 4**, while pricey we enjoyed all the little perks like the well stocked frig, snacks, loads of storage for a river boat plus the little balcony. Tho for the most part the weather was typical of that time of year, cloudy followed by rain and more cloudy…the ...
What a fantastic itinerary on the Rhine River and I just loved this ship! She is small and compact but brings the destination on board with local meals and local wines. I would recommend this itinerary for anyone who wants to see lots of small towns and villages in Europe. The crew on our cruise were outstanding and the attention to detail in the dining room was very impressive. Our waitress ...
I had served in Viet Nam in 1969-70, so I wanted to return and see the country. We started our trip in Hanoi, so it was very strange to be up where our “enemies” lived. The people were great!
The history, as the communist country of Viet Nam depicted, was tainted to make them as being very gracious to our soldiers while they were there in prison at the Hanoi Hilton. Getting past ...
We are from the UK and saw a TV programme hosted by a well known cruise ship singer-cum-TV presenter, Jane McDonald. It looked like a fabulous trip so we rang the tour operator (Global River Cruising) and asked to book the same suite we'd seen in the TV programme. Two years later we set off to New Delhi. The tour spends the first 5 nights seeing New Delhi, Agra and Jaipur and staying in superb ...
We traveled on the SS Antoinette from Amsterdam to Basel on October 2-9, 2022. The ship is decorated in Uniworld unique décor that is very ornate. Our room 314 was nice and had comfortable beds, ample storage, nice sized bathroom and worked well for our stay. I would liked to have had more USB type outlets. Just one outlet next to bed. There is a tv mounted with many stations, music, movies, ...

This was originally set for the Vietnam cruise in Feb 2020 which we decided to cancel due to COVID. Selected this cruise due to the destinations. Tour guides were hit or miss, with most being a miss. Extra cost for Vienna Opera house not worth it. Had small, short program in a side room, did not get to see any of the opera house other than when we entered and departed, very disappointed. Went ...
