This was my first cruise, I was with 3 other people who had been on cruises before but not with tui. I found the whole experience amazing and very worth the money!
There were special staff members who’s names are below;

These staff members made sure we had the best experience by ...
We thought , why not cruise around the Canary Isles with Madeira thrown in for good measure . We chose a Junior suite no 10015 on 10th floor , impressed with the cabin and facilities ( except a shower cubicle that floods ) Sadly however we quickly realised we were directly under the Gym due to the continuous crashing of the dumbells from the weights onto the floor ( typically from 7AM onwards ) ...
We had cruised with Thomsons several times previously and really enjoyed the friendly, personal touch of their Ships. We had tried several other ones over the years and decided to give Marella a go, so booked a weeks cruise on the Explorer.
Initial impressions were very good...very friendly staff, clean ship, great lounges/bars, spacious inside cabin..all good.
The itinary suited us and even ...
We joined this ship on It’s maiden voyage following a major refit. Unfortunately the refit was not completed before the ship sailed. We arrived in our cabin to find no electricity, safe not working, old shower door stored on the balcony. The electricity and shower door were dealt with in a reasonable space of time. Someone came to fix the safe, told us it was new and they didn’t have a code and ...
First time cruising and we both loved it from day one the party atmosphere when we set off was really good we knew then we were in for a good time as the second day came around the crew were so polite and helpful. Right let's get onto the cabins they are a little small but clean and tidied twice a day at the end of day you only sleep in them we were out everyday soaking up the atmosphere on pool ...
I choose explorer cruise by mistake originally as I thought it was adult only, but once getting on board I found it was not a mistake as it was absolutely the best , we didn't try the diners that you had to pay extra for as there was no need to , we ate in all the other diners and if we didn't like the menu 1 night we went to another, the whole of the staff on board was amazing and friendly ...
We chose Tui as we wanted a relaxed cruise with no formals, and it was all inclusive.
We had a whole day to explore Palma, Majorca which is a beautiful city. The ship was in tip top condition, with beautiful restaurants 47 and above this was Gallery 47 which is an Italian restaurant. Wherever we went the service given was excellent, from waiters to chambermaids.
Islands restaurant is ...
Some lovely restaurants attended by excellent waiting staff. Three of the six restaurants have an additional charge applied. Most of the food was very good with only one or two disappointing meals experienced during our week long stay.
The bars look very 70's but were also well attended.
The cabins are a bit bland whilst the communal parts of the ship appear very dated. My wife and I enjoyed ...
My partner usually cruises with Royal Carribean however I Persuaded her to try Thomson. The ship is impressive being an ex Royal Carribean ship however Thomson appear to be still trying to get a grip of running a bigger ship.
The evening entertainment was good on most nights and the variety excellent. The entertainment during the day around the pool could have been better and more varied. The ...
My wife and I have just returned from our first 7 day Western Mediterranean cruise aboard the Tui Discovery. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and found pretty much everything to be complete opposite to some of the highly critical reviews we read before departure which made us a little apprehensive.
All of the staff and crew were friendly and helpful with particular mention to Leah our cabin ...
