Cabin 1008

Cabin has a King Sized Bed 72" across, sheets are changed every three days by a very efficient Steward and Stewardess Patrico & Andrea. Any thing out of order is promptly set right. Bar is stocked with premium spirits and replenished when empty. Beer, Water and Soft Drinks replenished in the mini frig by the Butler Service (Snedal) daily. The Butler Service serves Canapes at 5 PM each night in the Suite. Bed was comfortable and room was cleaned and picked up twice daily. Interior of the Suite and Public Rooms considering the age of the ship were well maintained.

Beautiful! Huge bathroom with full size tub and separate shower. Spectacular amenities. Heavy dark curtains to block out light. Very quiet. Wonderful turn down service. Size able walk in closet with a safe and tons of hangers. Fabulous comfy bed. Sofa area to have room service breakfast every morning. Espresso maker. Riedel glassware for drinks. Great fridge restocked every day.

We were on Deck 10, a butler suite with a great location. Deck 10 has the La Veranda buffet as well as the pool, pool bar and outdoor lunch area. A great central location. We noticed none of the vibration issues some other reviews have described.

It does not matter which side of the ship you are on when going on an Alaskan cruise. The balcony is little used so our best advice is get the cheapest cabin.

Cabin 909

909 is a "normal" suite with Butler service. Spacious and attractive. Somewhat forward location but movement of ship etc never bothered us. Far enough away from the laundry not to hear any noise. We did hear our neighbours a couple of times (somewhat loud voices).
