SERENADE - 3 YEARS LATER Arizona Budgies
Interior - mid-ship, 9th floor, quiet, central location for walking and good for sleeping. Overall was in good shape but the sofa was tired looking, the glazing on the mirror in the bathroom needed a rework and wear on the bottom of the shower was evident, chipping paint. The flat screen TV had 29 channels, a wide variety but 8 of the 29 were devoted to RC and most involved promoting something for sale. 3 were cartoons, 1 news channel, 6 foreign language, 7 various TV shows (lots of reruns), 2 sports, 1 music, 1 TV Guide.

The cabin was really clean, I checked it very good, because I´ve heard from other people, that they were not satisfied with the cleaning. Ours was perfect for the whole cruise. The AC was not good, one bed was in the wind of the AC, the other got not enough cooling. They could not fix it. Closets are big enough for a 17 day cruise. Our stateroom attendant seprerated the beds, so we had more space in the middle and could put our luggage under the beds. We had a sofa, which we also used for putting our bags on it. The tv was not in good shape. It was hard to change the programs and the use of the internal system for watching your account was really difficult.

Our inside cabins on Deck 8 are more spacious than other inside cabins we occupied on previous cruises. We are glad that our travel agent chose for us cabins away from the Centrum as the noise of the evening entertainment would be very loud there.

Nice, my first time with an inside cabin. Shower leaked a bit. Very dark. Lots of hangers. I brought my one bottle of allotted wine on board and asked my cabin attendant for a wine glass. He did get one for me but told me I had to get them from the bar. I assumed he would put a new one in my cabin each day so he could earn that extra tip at end of cruise, but that was not the case. I had to "steel" them from various bars or go ask for one or two each night.

Wonderful Serenade Suzefirstcruise

Additional beds pull down from the ceiling so not in the way during the day. Storage space under the beds for cases etc. Extra cupboard space behind the mirrors.
