Amazing Alaska
"We wanted to go in May as it is one of the dryer months and it was the best decision as we had amazing weather. In Haines we did a tour through Royal Caribbean which was a little disappointing with missing one of the stops and staying way to long at another...."Read More

Crew is amazing!

Review for a Transpacific Cruise on Serenade of the Seas

The crew have been handpicked for the ultimate world cruise and it shows. They are bending over backwards to bring unique experiences, cultural shows, destination briefings, etc. The company has created some frustrations through inconsistent policies towards people doing same types of sailings (ex, offering discounts to those paying in advanced but not applying this equally to clients), and on ...

We set off on the World Cruise. Pros: Gorgeous, Great Itinerary, a + for staying late in ports, Nice staff, The garden theming and bird chirps around the indoor pool are amazing Cons: The steak is the worst steak Ive ever had on a ship. Rubbery in textture and salted to the max.It is so bad that the only meat I eat is the Roast Beef. - Shame on the World Cruise for not converting an area ...

We chose this cruise because it was available when we "needed" a break from the holiday craziness to relax and recoup. Before I start I must say that these older smaller ships are my favorite. The crew is always so friendly and attentive even though they have made some cutbacks. They always take time to smile and greet everyone they come across. At least that has always been my experience. ...

On board reality hits you: No johnny rockets, no starbucks, to Mislead you they ise starbucks cups but not eh coffee brand itself. Ship is old and dirty, somethimes my plate from the windjammer was not clean. Food is left out to long resulting in bad food experience with burger ...

Overall Alright Cruise

I went with my cousin on this cruise from LA to Miami via the Panama Canal. Overall, it was fine, but definitely not the caliber of cruises I had taken in the past (pre-pandemic) with RCC. My opinions are as follows: Cabin: We had a junior suite, mid-ship, that met my expectation for space and comfort. The beds were very comfortable and the veranda had a lounger, which was nice to relax in. The ...

We took this cruise to celebrate my 39th birthday. This was my first cruise since my diagnosis so i was prepared to only have a few things available to eat but boy was i wrong!!! This cruise turned out to be the best one we have ever been on, and it wouldn't have been possible without the staff kicking butts and taking names (and food and drink orders) the entire time! Ship: 3/5 The ship is ...

Overall, the cruise was great with interesting and scenic ports. The ship offered several communal spaces with lots of activities. Great food and service! Biggest complaint was timing and/or lack of evening shows. Pros: Good Windjammer buffet but would like more variety at lunches. Service in MDR was outstanding. Initial cabin requests were handled quickly and our room steward was efficient and ...

So disappointing

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Serenade of the Seas

I never thought I would be disappointed on a cruise BUT our cruise on Serenade of the Seas earned that title. The ship needs an update and in an overhaul approach. We booked an interior stateroom on the 7th floor and decided to bid on an upgraded room. For 380 dollars we were “upgraded” to the 2nd floor (the bottom of the ship”) with a porthole the size of a pie. We could only access our floor ...

Wanted an accessible getaway with no flight required...and this worked. Pleasantly surprised and loved the smaller ship. The food could have been hotter but that's about the only real thing that was noteable. Some meals outshined others...but we had no complaints....the buffet was a buffet -with a ton of options and the other venues were quite good.. Chefs dinner was phenomenal. We did use room ...
