Best Cruise Ever By: rwlid
Great cabin and very well appointed. Lots of room under the bed for luggage to get clutter out of the way. The entertainment system was the best I have encountered on a cruise with many free movies and TV shows available on demand.

* Suite generally good but cheap Ikea type furniture and fittings. On the bed there was no lighter weight alternative available to rather heavy duvet. Very small tv screen and very poor choice of tv channels. Suite sound insulation very poor. We could hear guests in the next door suite clearly. Had to phone reception to complain at 12.00 midnight when they were making a noise. Noise from suites above us also intrusive. Guest slamming doors above woke us during night. * Very noisy docking with unpleasant juddering when ship had to back in to dock. Extremely loud noise when anchor dropped at each port, usually very early in morning, making it impossible to sleep. Positive Points * Twin sinks with central mixer taps that can be rotated through 180 degrees to allow comfortable rinsing of face during washing. Large good quality soft feather pillows. Good shower cubicle with rotatable shower head. Good firm king-sized bed. Walk-in wardrobe.

Cabin 707
Aug 2016
Our V4 Verandah Suite (707) was light and roomy (only the space between the bed and dresser is tight). Oceania penthouse suites are larger but we were perfectly happy with the size of our small suite on Seabourn. I loved the bar and tv cabinets and being able to draw the curtains between the sleeping and living area. All very elegant! The mini fridge was stocked with our preferred soft drinks and there was a chilled bottle of champagne waiting for us. I ordered a flower arrangement in advance and it was big, nice and lasted the entire trip. The seating area has a well-designed layout but the fabric and colors of the chairs and especially the couch are an acquired taste. I don’t know if it was meant to be and art-deco theme but we didn’t fancy it. The beds are very firm not to say rock hard and the pillows gigantic. The bed linens are soft but the whole experience does not compare to the wonderful beds and linens that Oceania provides on its ships. We did love the small make-up vanity and the bathroom is spacious with separate soaking tub and shower. Molton Brown provides the luxury bath products and you have dual sinks, with high-end fixtures, marble tiles and good lighting. I would have loved to have a night-light there. A pair of drawers would have been a welcome addition to the bathroom since shelves and storage are limited. The suite also features a walk-in closet, safe and two bathrobes. I missed electrical outlets near the nightstands for charging my phone or tablet. The air-conditioning did what it is designed for and we had no problem getting the ideal temperature for our suite. We liked sitting on the balcony late at night with a glass of wine and listen to the waves and talk about our day.

Nice size & good appointments. Loved the soaps & bubble bath. Good closet area. Lounge chairs on verandah are very uncomfortable and cumbersome.

Cabin 707

The veranda suites are all the same size with the same amenities. We were somewhat closer to the bow - or as my husband calls it "the pointy end" - and on our first day out in the North Sea one could feel a little turbulence. Most of the time we could have been standing on dry land. The cabin was spacious with plenty of storage space and a good bathroom. Cabin attendant was outstanding.

Great cabin and lots of room. Balcony furniture could use an upgrade a first class cabin.

We loved this cabin. The walk-in closet was ample. We didn't even fill all the drawers. The location of this cabin has a very unique feature. It is under the wing of the bridge. Therefore, if it is raining, the bridge acts as a roof and the veranda stays dry. If I had one suggestion it would be that the TV could have a better viewing angle from the bed.

The cabin is beautiful. We were amazed by the walk in closet, bathtub and shower, storage space, furnishings. The location was perfect. We loved the veranda, it is large and glass enclosed.

Except for the true "suites" all the cabins are the same with most having verandas. The location of 804 - high and very near the front of the ship made it very rocky in rough seas. But that was only 2 days out of the 14 of this cruise. The cabin was very quiet. I never heard any noise from cabins above, below or next door.
