Wonderful Smaller Ship Experience

Review for a Arctic Cruise on Seabourn Ovation

We chose the Ovation for its itinerary of Iceland and finishing in Denmark, but we were blown away by the superior service and staff on the ship. We have only cruised on larger lines before (Royal, Holland, Celebrity), and while those ships were nice, this experience was far better. The rooms were huge, the bathrooms were enormous and it was close to feeling like a hotel room rather than a ...

Seabourn Service and food was not what it used to be.

Have cruised with Seabourn before the pandemic and loved the whole experience. Could not wait to go another Seabourn cruise. Unfortunately things seem to have changed big time. Service standards in the main dinning room were bad, as was TKs. Room staff great along with all the staff at the Colonnade. Food serving staff seemed harassed and unmotivated and not very attentive. Sometimes you had ...

Best ship experience .... ever

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Seabourn Quest

We have taken over 70 cruises. In fact that is a guess because we have lost count. We booked this 36 night trans Atlantic some time ago as we are tired of trans Atlantic flights and this itinerary looked very good. We had take two Seabourn cruises in 2022 and had a nice experience. When I learned that Quest was a small ship with around 400 pax, I was a bit concerned as we had been loyal ...

Seabourn goes the way of Holland American

We have been Seabourn loyal cruisers for a number of seasons, but no more. We like the ship size and outstanding onboard personnel. However, the overall quality of service, food, little extras, and ability of crew members to respond to special needs has disappeared. The ships are the same, the outstanding crews are the same, the food is a little sub-par when compared to Oceana and the excursions ...

Cruise of the Vikings

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Seabourn Quest

Fabulous multi-country cruise from the British Isles to Iceland, Greenland, Newfoundland and Canada following the route of the Vikings. Ship's size allowed us to go places with stunning scenery that could not be viewed by anything larger. Room service was always on-time. Thomas Keller Grill was excellent. Main restaurant (dine when you wish) was great, too. We enjoyed outstanding service and ...

Fabulous!

My husband and I had a fabulous time on our first Seabourn Cruise. We were a little apprehensive, as the price was a bit of a stretch for us. We were very pleased with our overall experience. Although, we did have one really rough sea day, we didn’t know if the smaller ship made it worse or not, because we have experienced some pretty rough seas in bigger ships also. We have previously cruised ...

Impeccable Service

Review for a Arctic Cruise on Seabourn Ovation

This was a 14 day cruise that left From Copenhagen, circumnavigated Iceland and returned to Copenhagen. We have been on Seabourn at least 6 times and this was our second time on the Ovation. We like the larger size, compared to the 3 older and smaller ships, which is most noticeable in the Thomas Keller restaurant and bar. We were told there were only about 325 passengers, and the captain said ...

Venture itself is great but tendering even in regular ports is only by Zodica which can mean a lengthy wet ride to get to and from the tour buses.

Review for a British Isles & Western Europe Cruise on Seabourn Venture

Venture is a beautiful small ship but Seabourn do need to have a rethink re what parts of a voyage in particular round the UK are "expedition" and which are not. We were cruising around Scotland where many of the places we visited and the tours on offer were the same as for the regular cruise ships. However, as all tendering was by Zodiacs (which hold 12 people) this did take longer for the ...

It's been three years since we cruised since Covid shut down and Crystal bankruptcy (Our go to Cruise line in the past). In an effort to find a replacement we booked three segments starting April 9 and ending May 19 in Dover. The Seabourn Ovation is a beautiful newer ship with generous rooms sizes and furnishings. We had high expectations at the beginning of the cruise and learned quickly ...

Seabourn Venture: Worth the Wait

Based on our trip to the Antarctic on the Seabourn Quest in 2019 we chose this new expedition ship when we decided to visit Greenland. When completion of the Venture was delayed a total of four times and our initial sailing date was advanced by almost exactly one year we were initially a bit concerned about how things would come together. But to cut to the finish, I guess the time was well spent ...
