We have always enjoyed cruising with Princess and this last little mini-cruise really topped the list. We decided that to get even closer to reaching the Elite level, we would take this cruise. Arrived at the Port of Vancouver extra early for our one-night repositioning cruise to seattle. We have learned our lesson from previous one-night cruises. They call it 'Black Saturday'. Booked the 1 day Pacific Coastal Cruise for my friend and I mid April. We are both first time cruisers. Embarkation - NIGHTMARE, gangway problems at the port caused major backup. 3 ships were embarking at one time (Coral, Sapphire and a Holland American ship) We got at the port at 1:50 and didn't get on the ship until 4:10. We took this cruise to upgrade our Captain's Circle status. This is our third cruise on Sapphire Princess (Australia, Alaska) and it is our favorite ship and feels like home.
