First and last RC cruise for me.
Awful cabin, shower a joke, entertainment appalling and 400 Euro more than its way superior competitor NCL Epic.
Food was good, staff without reproach but pokey , old fashioned Tiny cabin with a leaking shower and no xpelair !
I’ve had far better cruises with Norwegian, MSC and Celebrity .
The entertainment /shows were of a poor standard .... . ...
Myself and my husband travelled with a group of friends to celebrate a special birthday. There were 16 of us in all which greatly added to the enjoyment of our holiday.
We have cruised before on RCI , NCL and Princess so we were able to compare and contrast many aspects of the ship with those sailed on before. Rhapsody was similar in size to NCL Jade but was definitely older and a bit more ...
I am not sure where to start this was a most amazing cruise which i have had so far with Royal Caribbean. Honestly i have no ties at all with Royal but just love the experience on board their ships. This cruise was really something special for me and the kind people i shared the cruise with. All went well on boarding Rhapsody we were an hour late due to fog at Gatwick but it was not an ...
We choose this cruise due to the deals being offered and the places it was going.
The room we chose was 2509 not really knowing it’s location but we hindsight we wouldn’t have chosen it due to the fact that we were right over the bow thruster which when operated was very very noisy and the room vibrated tremendously good if you want an early morning call. We thought we had booked anytime dining ...
We have cruised many, times since last choosing RCI. In fact the last time was around 35 years ago. Since then we have travelled with P&O,H&L,Celebrity and many others of the same calibre. This was our third cruise in 2018.
We chose this cruise as part of a package put together by IGLU to encompass Lake garda as the starting point and a transfer to Venice to pick up the ship.
We had ...
The Rhapsody, although one of the smallest, was a nice ship. The decor was nice and our Jnr suite cabin, 8596, was a perfect size for a very comfortable cruise. The decor was great apart from the gaudy pictures, the designer should be sacked, a few nice pictures would lighten the room! The food was very nice, the windjammer has so much choice you don't need to go elsewhere. We paid for 3 extra ...
Our first experience on RCC and the ship, Rhapsody of the Seas which is one of their oldest in the fleet (first sailing 1997 and the most recent refit in 2012).
This was our third cruise having sailed with Celebrity and P&O before and overall would rate RCC third for the following reasons;
Pros - Being an older made ship, had good levels of soundproofing in the cabin with no neighbour noises ...
We chose this ship because of the ports it was visiting and the date it was sailing. We had never sailed with Royal Caribbean before. The service on board was fantastic.
From dining room to coffee shop to cabin steward the service was amazing.
The food choice was excellent and all the food tasted great!
The entertainment at the shows each night was wonderful too.
The cruise director ...
I could not have chosen a better company or ship for my first cruise. Everything was perfect. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. A credit to Royal Caribbean. I loved the entertainment in the Broadway theatre every night (ventriloquist, magician, Beatles tribute act, latin/ballroom dancers and balancing act). They were ably supported by the resident singers and dancers who performed ...
First and foremost, I found the entertainment on board Rhapsody of the Seas fantastic and the productions in the theatre were first rate (especially the Beatles show). Led by Elvis Pinto as Cruise Director, his Zumba and salsa classes were fun and his compering was second to none. Activities manager, Paulo Arreghini, worked tirelessly from early morning to late at night. Paulo is an ...
