Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

If you want to eat after 10 in the evening and want more then a roll or a burnt pizza. Entertainment was a joke the cruise director needs replacing. Example colouring by numbers as an afternoon entertainment. The cruise seemed to concentrate on people who were returning customers rather then new. Formal nights were a joke, you got dressed up to walk into the dining room for your evening meal ...

We wanted a lot of R & R at Sea!!! It was also on my husbands bucket list to do a trans Atlantic cruise. It was wonderful. We love cruising and visiting with others in the lounges. Had awesome dinner guest at our table. We would do it again in a heart beat and have another plan for this August out of Coppenhagen to Boston with great stops between. We do short cruises (7-9 day) in between ...

Rhapsody of the Seas Canary Islands and Coco Cay Cruise

This was a vacation that I took with family members all of whom are retired. The first leg of our cruise was the eight day Italy and Mediterranean cruise on the Rhapsody that began on October 24th, 2017. We decided to continue on the transatlantic crossing on the Rhapsody, back to the United States that ended in Tampa. We found the Rhapsody of the Seas a very small and old ship. The ship ...

Relaxing Transatlantic Crossing

We choose this cruise as it stopped in the Canary Islands and was supposed to go to CocoCay (lol) and to try a transatlantic. We treated ourselves to a junior suite as we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and although the suite itself was nice, there was too much noise from above. We were one cabin away from spa so have no idea what all the noise at night was from since the Park ...

TA November 2017

Chose RCL for TA because we’ve done TAs with RCL before. Found Rhapsody of the Seas to be disappointing. Even though she’s had a facelift in 2012 she is worn. Wooden tables are scuffed. Table in the Viking Lounge had red wine stains on the table top. I went into the ladies room to get some moist paper towels to clean the table. Balcony cabin roomy enough. Menu at the Windjammer repetitive day ...

We choose this cruise because it did not go to the Caribbean, to unknown islands because of the Harricane. We wanted to see more of the Canary Islands. We were disappointed that the Captain knew that he could not 'tender' at Coco Cay and Royal Caribbean did not make provisions to stop at another port, i.e. 'Nassau or Freeport' probably because it cost 'money'. The terminal in Tampa is way too ...

Very poor medical services

My wife and I obtained our emerald level on this cruise which shows we have limited knowledge of expectations. All our cruises have been on Royal Caribbean and we have been satisfied with our previous cruises. This particular cruise became very unsatisfactory for me personally very early in the cruise when the staff froze all my insulin rather than just putting it in the refrigerator as I ...

Old ship and cheap cruise line

Royal Caribbean was very cheap this time around and I will never sail with them again. I felt I had to pay for everything if I wanted it. They didn’t heat the pool everyday, some days it was great and some the pool was so cold that we couldn’t go in. We were told it was the same temperature everyday and that was not true. The internet service was inferior, some days we couldn’t sign in at ...

Another great crossing on the Atlantic

We chose this cruise because of the excellent value, the Loyalty program and the destination. We love Barcelona and live part of the year near Tampa, so the itinerary was important to us as well. We have wanted to visit Lanzarote and it will not disappoint if you like moonscapes and volcanoes. We booked with an alternative tour agency and spent about 6 hours on the island. Gran Canaria and La ...

Enjoyable cruise

The ship seemed well maintained. I loved the Solarium pool and the whirlpools in the main pool area. It would be nice if the whirlpools in the Solarium had jets. The food was good, though they never served a lobster dinner in the dining room, though they did in the Windjammer. There is not enough room in the Windjammer nor enough seats. I gave up eating there and ate all of my meals in the ...
