Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Rhapsody of the Seas

To start with we have a great time with just 2 minor issues Normally lunch is ready in the Windjammer at 11:00 and Park Cafe at 12:00. But the Coast Guard was doing an inspection that delayed lunch by 1 hour causing huge lines. As you can guess some passages complained. I say it's best to have the inspection and know the food service areas are up to code. Waiting an extra hour to eat if far ...

As Diamond Plus members, we were looking forward to sailing for the first time on Rhapsody of the Seas. We are fans of the smaller ships and have been on Grandeur of the Seas numerous times. We flew down to Tampa same day as cruise with no problems, aside from having to be at the airport by 4:30 in the morning! Took an Uber, which we highly recommend, from airport. Only $8.50 for the two of us ...

Since our cruise on Seabourn we have become very spoiled, but my husband is a "prog" fan and was thrilled to take this cruise with some of his favorite artists. I hadn't been on a Royal Caribbean ship for at least 10 years and it hasn't gotten any better. We left from Tampa for this 5-day cruise and because of fog we weren't allowed to embark until 7:30 that evening (instead of 10:30 that ...

As Diamond Plus passengers, were looking forward to the experience of the Rhapsody of the seas. Yes, we got a great deal on an inside cabin but do prefer a window or above. First, the port of Tampa was a breeze to get to from the airport. We chose to use an Uber both ways and were extremely impressed with the whole process, first time using them, highly recommend. Upon getting to the port, ...

Rhapsody of The Seas

We chose this cruise because we had gone on this 2 years ago and loved it. All in all it is a wonderful cruise, but this time around we brought more friends and kids. The Kids Club was great for the young ones, but only our two teens (13 years old) showed up to Teen Club and that is not enough to do anything that is planned for the teens. I did give the manager ideas on how to promote and maybe ...

Ship was ok, trip was great

The ship itself is very confusing. Theater aft, dining forward. I was always lost. Our interior cabin was comfortable and we had plenty of room. Lots of closet space and drawers. Entree choices were blah. Starters and desserts were fabulous. I had the refreshment package. Premium bottled water was no name purified via reverse osmosis. Yuck. No Starbucks. Coffee stand with very limited choices but ...

Toasts to relaxations

Our cruise on the RCCL Rhapsody was full of relaxation, tequila, and cerveza. Our embarkation was quick and easy thanks to being able to do a lot of the check in on line. Our oceanview cabin was clean and spacious enough for two people. Our cabin steward kept it clean and tidy and we never saw him. A variety of activities were offered by the ship but none really excited us so we opted (for the ...

Amazing ship!

This cruise was nothing but amazing! The staff is amazing and there's nothing bad I can say about anyone I met during the cruise! The port of Tampa was interesting to say the least. The ship was stuck in fog overnight and couldn't arrive back into Tampa until close to 8pm, delaying the charter the ship was going out on till the next morning. During the delay in return to port the ship was running ...

Smaller ships can be Grand!

My wife and I recently cruised on the Rhapsody of the Seas, to date this has been the smallest cruise ship we have sailed on. I can honestly say I think it may be a new favourite! I enjoyed the smaller ship and not having thousands of people! For us cruising has always been about the ship firstly and where it is going secondly! Since this smaller ship was able to get into a few ports we had ...

Caught a royal cold virus on this Royal Caribbean cruise

My friend and I chose this cruise because it was a great time to get away from the cold up north where we live. When we arrived, the boarding process was simple and easy and with very little trouble. That was great! We had excellent service, both in our room with the attendant as well as in all of the dining rooms. And while I think the crew does a good job of trying to control germs by ...
