6th cruise and 1st on Royal Carribean. This was a 4 night quickie to Ensenada and the previous 5 were week long cruises with 4 on Norwegian and 1 on MSC. The trip was good, Ensenada better than expected, and our 1st Royal cruise had some things better than any we had cruised and some not so good. Head to head? Royal vs NCL on our previous ships (MSC was not good, so leaving them ...
The crew is fantastic as always, especially the concierge Sukriti Rai, Sue. She is super nice and will help you with any concerns. I have always had a good experience with the crew. The itinerary was nice seeing New England. Used the hop on hop off bus in Boston, while good, it was a long trip back to ship of about 2 or more hours, so know that. You can use Uber most everywhere if you don't ...
It was around hurricane Idalia and we were supposed to leave out of Tampa.
The city closed down and the coast guard couldn't clear the ship to dock on time to pick us up on the day of.
Boarding was delayed a day and the cruise was shortened by a day which means that we didn't have time to make it to our destination to Cozumel Mexico. I was one of the few disappointed people because I am not ...
The Royal Caribbean staff were mostly great. Some of them didn’t know very much. Maybe the were new hires.
It was hard to find out what to expect or how to plan for this cruise from the Royal Caribbean website. Especially what you need purchase for food. My wife and I knew absolutely nothing about being on a cruise ship and learned as we went along.
We bought a Key Membership. I recommend ...
Cleaning of rooms only once a day.
You can choose either in the morning or in the evening.
Very poor desserts, both in the buffet and in the restaurant on the 3rd floor.
We tried breakfast at the restaurant on the 4th floor. We won't do it anymore.
There was very small selection of food.
Price of drinks includes service charge.
The quality of the food, not like in the past.

The Good: Unbelievably attentive staff. Everyone from Royal Caribbean will go out of their way to accommodate any concerns you may have. Conceptually, the Boardwalk, Central Park, and Royal Promenade areas should mesh and work well. They do not. The Aqua80 show was memorable. The steak I devoured at 150 Central Park was amazing!
The Bad: Jam 6,500+ people onto a ship and what do you get? ...
We have cruised with P&O, RC Symphony of the Seas, Virgin Scarlet lady, Morella, and by far this was the worst ship we have ever been on, this ship is well past its sell by date, falling apart, outdated.
Entertainment was the worst I have ever seen, butlins is much better, people walking out 10 mins into shows, what really annoys me is that this was the 2nd most expensive cruise we have been ...
Just returned from Oasis of the Seas which was my 7th cruise on 4 different lines. I regret to say that it was NOT the best experience! The ship is very nice as was the staff. The food was mediocre at best. Very bland/tasteless for the most part. We actually started eating at the windjammer in an effort to find SOMETHING that taste good. We had SOME success at the Asian food station ...
Traveled with friend and family. Embarkation was a breeze, although I think they can improve a little with the drop off of luggage. We figured it out, but I can see how some could confused. We were on the ship in 15 minutes which was great. The ship overall is nice and well maintained for it's age. It's a little worn here and there. Our ocean view balcony was spacious and our cabin steward ...
My husband and I were frequent, fairly adventurous travelers pre-kids. Of course, vacations drastically change once you have a family. Last year we did Club Med Cancun and it was kind of awful, so we decided to try a cruise this year. We had been on Carnival and Princess before in the before-kids era, but we decided to give Royal Caribbean a try since it seemed pretty family friendly. Traveling ...
