Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

This was our first cruise and definitely not the last! After this experience, we do not want to travel any other way! My family, my husband and 2 daughters along with my cousin and her family (husband, son and daughter) had been planning this vacation for some time and we can say unequivocally, the Oasis did not disappoint. The staterooms were spacious and extremely clean. Our room attendant was ...

Sail Date 8/12/2018 Embark/Debark – Port Canaveral – Spent 2 days prior in Cocoa beach prior Destinations – Saint Maarten, San Juan, Labadie Haiti Summary We have been on quite a few cruises and on a scale from 1-10, 10 being the highest, I would rank this around a 6. Don’t get me wrong, we had a great time, but in our opinion, the ship was too big. We are a family of 4 ages 47,46,15 ...

Another home run

Chose to do another Oasis voyage, and loved the new Eastern itinerary (St Maarten, San Juan, Labadee). The crew were great, standard 2 berth balcony was perfect, no complaints about the quality of food. I cruise with my mom and we really are very easy to please kind of cruisers, not picky eaters, or complainers. The ports were great, our second time in St Maarten, first trip being before Irma. ...

We chose Royal Caribbean because of word of mouth terrific reviews. The private island Coco Cay was disappointing. Getting on and off the ship was a nightmare. It was like a cattle call. Food was all right, and the wait staff were great. Our Jr Suite was very nice, lots of storage and our steward was awesome. He was very accommodating and went above and beyond. Ship is showing her ...

Very Dated Ship but Common Areas are Decent

The cruise was decent. The start of our cruise was a bit rocky, the muster drill took incredibly long to begin and seemed quite disorganized, also there seemed to be an issue with their intercom system as not all announcements could be heard around the ship (we didn't even hear that the rooms were ready while we were at the Windjammer). The waiting staff in the My Fair Lady dining room were nice ...

The ship itself is very clean and easy to navigate through. The cabin was comfortable with plenty of mirrors to make sure you look amazing everyday. The dining was delicious and although you can have a burger, hot dog and fries everyday there are plenty of other selections to choose from which is what I loved. I actually never felt hungry because food was conveniently available all the time. I ...

We are Emerald level cruisers and have also traveled with Disney and Carnival. Our last 2 cruises were on the mega ships Oasis and Allure. I felt the large ships lost that sense of "cruise community" I had come to expect and enjoy. Enchantment didn't disappoint. I must admit the choice of venues were lean compared to the larger ships but Bobby the cruise director and his staff did a great job ...

Total experience was great. All staff was amazing. Trained to the highest level and it must be a great place to work because all staff seemed to care about their service. Plenty of activity and shows and entertainment. Food and wait staff was great in main dining room. Staff would remember you on a first name basis by the second day. Entertainment that was scheduled was great such as comics and ...

OK - missing value for money spent

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

The cruise certainly had a target market -- people who had a lot of money to spend. The experience was ok. First few days were not enjoyable and I just wanted to click my heels and be home. got sick off of the breakfast at Windjammer the first day and refused to go back. Food was not great. Food was often cold. St Thomas still has not recovered from the Hurricane over a year ago and ...

I have cruised with Royal Caribbean before, but when my boyfriend told me that he has never been on a cruise before, I knew nothing less than the Oasis of The Seas would do, especially since we were celebrating his 50th birthday. The ship is beautiful and very well maintained. The stateroom which was over-looking central park was gorgeous!!! It was spacious and well laid out. I will say that the ...
