Great Honeymoon, Brilliant Ports

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

We travelled from England UK and had a lovely honeymoon on this ship but I will say things that could be improved also. The ship is a marvellous creation. It is impressive how it has been designed. Before the cruise I notified Royal Caribbean that it was our honeymoon. I was a little disappointed that no nice little gestures i.e bottle of champagne/chocolates/petals had been put in our room ...

Our first time on a mega ship this size. We got a good price and went for it. I've been on around 14 cruises and 7 of them on RCCL. The Oasis of the seas was a very nice ship but even with its size, 6000 people was just too much. It was like standing in line at Disney for everything. Getting on and off at port calls was a slow process. We never ate at the main dinning because the only dinning ...

Vastly Underwhelming Customer Service

We chose this sailing as a (cheap) way to get my family, my parents, and my in-laws all on one boat. It was my parents first time on a cruise ship. We started planning it in October of 2017 and that's when the problems with customer service started. Pre-Boarding My father has a hard time sleeping prone so we had called RC before we booked and asked if there were any options for him. We were ...

I traveled with my sister and we are both in our 70's. We had a great time. Food was good and alot of fish entree's offered at night and lobster night they let us have all we want. The waiters were especially friendly. If you have not tried the Chops Grill your in for a treat. It was great however the Allure ship's Chops was alot better, food was hotter when arriving to table. Be aware this ...

We arrived at the Port Canaveral 11:15 The line for security was out the door. It moved rather quickly. We were on the boat by 12:00. We went up to the Windjammer for lunch the line was long and had to wait for a table. Food was OK. We found out later we could have went down 1 deck to eat with no line. They let us in our rooms at 1:00. Our room was 10329 Boardwalk view last cabin toward the ...

Horrible Food

We were part of a group. The food was awful, but the service was great. I believe the cruise lines are trying to force people to pay for upgraded food. I miss the old days of cruising. I also miss the days where you paid tips to those who deserve it. This overall tipping across the board is not fair and then at the end of the cruise you've got cruise line employees standing around looking for ...

Surprising and Enjoyable

We were apprehensive about cruising on a boat with 6,000+ passengers but after the first day were pleasantly surprised that it didn't feel more crowded than some of the previous cruises we have taken on smaller boats. The first day was chaotic as having so many people trying to figure out where to go on the ship was congested but after that it was fine. We are not "sun" people so we did not go on ...

We have been on Carnival before and switched to RCCL. We live in Cocoa and the port is right there in Port Canaveral. This was 4 day cruise and we had planned it 6 months in advance hoping for good weather..Man...........what a great time.... The food was wonderful. The crew was ALL polite and accommodating. 1st cruise ever, we chose a short one. We will be back...longer! Room with balcony of sits and table. Excellent service room care. Dining service of care, especially Gluten Free issues for us, was passionate and delicious. So many eating areas available; main dinning room, Windjamer buffet just two of the many we loved. Outside and inside pools, decks and decks outside sitting. So many shows in ...

My girlfriend and I decided to book a cruise after her sister and her boyfriend recommended it. I was skeptical about it thinking that I would get bored and it would be too crowded but decided to book a 4 night one to test it. Enchantment of the Seas totally changed my mind about cruising! There were 2,400 passengers but it did not feel crowded and we could always find a chair in the deck and ...
