Suite upgrade has spoiled us for all future cruises

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

We are Floridians, and Port Canveral is convenient for us, and we had cruised with RCI before. We timed this cruise with my wife's birthday, and booked a junior suite. Not sure why, but three days before the cruise, we were upgraded to an owner's suite, which I only noticed by accident when accessing my SeaPass info. A slight negative, because we were never officially notified, and could have ...

I read reviews for weeks before our cruise and was a little nervous based on some of the assessments of the condition of the ship and crew. Overall we were very happy with the cruise. Our cabin was in very good condition and the air conditioning worked fine. I think the crew is a little more behind the scenes than on some of the smaller ships that I have been on, but we did not have an bad ...

I chose this cruise as I wanted to experience a huge ship- and it did not disappoint me. While there were over 6000 passengers-the only time it felt like that was during boarding and disembarkment. Even then, the process was relatively smooth for the number of people involved. The gem onboard was the Vintages Wine Bar! The sommelier staff was engaging, knowledgeable and a wonderful asset to the ...

We cruise twice a year and this was our 3rd RCI Big Ship. There are so many things to do on this ship- whether you want to relax by the pool, take a class, see a show, eat a delicious meal, play a game--WHATEVER it may be YOU and YOUR FAMILY are covered:). The service on all 7 days was TOP NOTCH- we have never had better. The MDR staff, our cabin steward, the kids club, the bar service- ...

I have heard many people talk about this ship so I thought I would give it a try. The agent I spoke with at RCCL gave me a good price, offered me a wine/cheese/fruit basket (which I never got) and some bad advice. Let me preface, I am extremely claustrophobic and her and I discussed this...that being said, the bathroom and location of bed in the balcony room was a nightmare for me. Stepping into ...

A disappointing RC

Vacation post 3weeks in America finishing with back to back cruises. Maybe we should of realised that an itinerary which only went to Coco Cay and Nassau x2 in one week was not the best. The ship itself is very tired and well past it’s best with the gym equipment needing maintenance to the Spotlight lounge being closed ( short staffed?). A karaoke night in a bar which was the through way from the ...

I have been on one other ship; Freedom of the Seas 3 years ago and loved it. Me and my mother went on this ship last week. I was hoping she could enjoy the same things I had on my Royal Caribbean cruise. We did have a great time. But, there were some things in need of being repaired. We had at least 2-3 broken electric outlets in our room and the vanity in the bathroom was scratched up. The shower ...

My wife and I chose this cruise for my 50th birthday. This was my ninth cruise and her 11th - all in six years. We've cruised Celebrity, Royal, Carnival and Norwegian and loved them all. The best vacation we have ever taken was on the Freedom of the Seas in 2013. Consequently, we had high expectations for this trip. Many of them were met but I'm starting to think the class of ship you sail does ...

This was our third time on Oasis of the Seas. Just the two of us in a Central Park balcony stateroom. Plenty big and the bed was very comfortable. We brought our Pride GoGo folding scooters with us but didn't use them for the cruise. Lots of room for storing them in our cabin beside the couch. Just needed them the week after while we were at Disney World. Our stateroom attendant, Humlyn ...

Great Honeymoon, Brilliant Ports

We travelled from England UK and had a lovely honeymoon on this ship but I will say things that could be improved also. The ship is a marvellous creation. It is impressive how it has been designed. Before the cruise I notified Royal Caribbean that it was our honeymoon. I was a little disappointed that no nice little gestures i.e bottle of champagne/chocolates/petals had been put in our room ...
