Chose to do this trip with a group of women. Some had not cruised before. I have been on this ship before, beautiful. Embarkation was quick and friendly. Cabin was great.Clean and well taken care of. Dining was very good mainly because of the servers. They are friendly and fun. Food was very good. As for entertainment on the ship, it is lacking. Cats is a boring play, a downer, needs to go. Other ...

Sailed on this cruise for 7 nights to western Caribbean. Had a great time with my family, wife and 2 kids (aged 4 and 6). Food was good, staff was great. No issues with service. 1 day in Labadee was fantastic. Really had no complaints. The children club was really great. There took good care our our kids. Infact my 6 year old did not want to leave which was funny. The hours were good ...

Family of four (two adults and 13 yr boy and 15 yr girl) in two ocean balcony rooms - adjoined by common balcony and door. Wonderful set-up giving us our own space and bathroom. Per comments on cruisecritic we took the kids to the Teen Club/Living Room for introductions and a welcome party. That was the last time we "saw" them figuratively - they developed a group of friends and spent the days on ...

I choose this cruise because when I researched which cruise to go on this year, the oasis class of Royal Caribbean International was the best of the best in the modern cruising industry. The dining on The oasis was fabulous! I would recommend to get a specialty dining package and an ocean view stateroom because the food was crafted with extra care at the specialty dining venues aboard The Oasis Of ...

2 seasoned cruise couples trying Oasis class

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

Two cruiser couples have sailed on 650 - 4000 passenger ships but have wanted to try the Oasis class. We were overall very pleased with her, even filled to capacity of 6400 passengers: Embarkation was the fastest ever. 25 minutes from entering the check in building to boarding the ship. (Though no welcome aboard glass of champagne ). There was a long line up to get into the Windjammer for lunch ...

I generally look to book on one of the Oasis class ships because of the amenities and the Coastal Kitchen experience. The staff and crew were wonderful, the food as good as I've ever had, and the Loft Suite I booked exceeded all expectations. Being a frequent cruiser, I only left the ship briefly in Jamaica and Cozumel, choosing to spend the bulk of the time in port enjoying the quiet of an ...

Traveled for a winter vacation to the Caribbean, and wanted to try one of the largest cruise ships in the world. I do not regret that I did it, but it may not be the best ship for me. The ship is AMAZING and beautiful, and it is BIG. My favorite areas were the Solarium and Central Park. We had a cabin on Deck 8, and that was very convenient to the Park Cafe and just a few floors up from the ...

Third time on Oasis, not outstanding

We decided on this cruise because we had been on Oasis before and the dates of the cruise would fit our schedule. Previously enjoyed Oasis when it cruised from Port Everglades, now it is out of Port Canaveral. We agree with previous reviewers that they crew did not seem motivated or happy and were just going through the motions. Possibly need more customer service training. The MTD which you ...

RCI continues to be the leader of the pack...

We've sailed Oasis in the past as well as other RCI ships. The quality of service has been very consistent over the years. Generally, they do it all right! The shows are outstanding and varied for all interests. The only negative we found was a little drop off in main dining room service; not quite up to past standards. We've stopped at Labadee, Falmouth & Cozumel several times in the past ...

I chose this cruise because it sailed out of Port Canaveral which is a port that is easier for me to drive to. Also I have friends living in that area. I sailed on the Oasis of the Seas when it was brand new and wanted to see if it was still as lovely as then. The Captain and the crew where very friendly and I received excellent service. All of the meals served to me in the dining room were very ...
