Friends had a group going and I was invited to tag along. Loved the whole trip. I didnt get off the ship after Labadee because my knee was giving me some problems. I went in the hot tub on ship. The crowds were less and it was very enjoyable.
Getting on board took a little time going thru the paperwork, but was as fast as possible. The clerks knew their jobs very well and were speedy with it. ...
This ship was entirely tooooooo big and tooooooo much commotion for our tastes! Just too many people and unfortunately too many un-supervised/un-parented children. We felt it was more like a floating continuous carnival or wild playground than a cruise. If we had been on the cruise with our grandchildren, it would have been a much better experience for us and a great one for them, but we were ...
Top of the class!!! Service, Food, Drink, Accommodations, Pools, Shows, Activities and Spa are second to none! The entire staff is ALWAYS professional, courteous and friendly. If you need to relax (or do it all) Royal Caribbean is for you!!! There is activities, food and drink to please everyone! The staff is always professional, respectful, courteous and friendly. We love to travel and have always wanted to take a cruise so when we won this one we couldn't wait. If you want to do anything special for an excursion or a ship board show make sure you sign up in advance. We missed out o a lot of exciting trips because we didn't know any better. That was our fault for not taking the time to check into it like we were told to.I We couldn't believe how much there ...
This cruise was our 3rd on the Oasis class ships and 6th Royal Caribbean. We booked a Royal Suite Star Class and booked cabin 1758. We received a Royal Genie. The Royal Genie contact starts 6 weeks prior requesting you to fill out a questionnaire to get information to assist them in providing you with a exceptional cruise that you will not forget. I can assure you of that as it definitely ...
Destinations matched our plan and was available at a reasonable price. OverLl the service was good and staff was friendly. The ship was very good and was big enough that you hardly noticed that you were on a ship of you were not looking. There was a lot to do and see even without getting off of the ship. Alcohol was over-priced. Good exercise options. Excursion experiences were overpriced and ...
I chose this cruise because eight other couples were going on this particular ship. At many times the crowds on board were overwhelming. The service and shows were top notch, but a lot of the time we felt like we were living in a high class shopping mall. There is too much emphasis on pushing the merchandise. If I wanted to shop, I could go to any neighborhood mall at home.
Labadee was the ...
Oasis of the Sea is a very large ship. It gives you many opportunities to choose activities, food venues, and pools. We were on board with maximum capacity of 6500 passengers. Very first time I've experienced such a large number of passengers. We would prefer to travel when they're not booked to capacity. Even with this large number of people embarking and disembarking was very smooth. Food and ...
This was our first time aboard the Oasis of the Seas and I was immediately stricken by the shear size of this vessel. The main promenade areas on decks 5 and 8 are wonderful, open spaces full of shops and places to eat. Of note are the Pizzeria and Cafe on deck 5, as these are open 24 hours.
There are an umpteen number of activities on this ship and I'm sure that I missed at least a few. ...
Night before disembarkation, hubby lost his phone. Lost and found did not have before we had to leave the ship. After some research learned they do have a method to report lost items after disembarkation.
Completed a form with phone data as instructed and several days later was informed the phone had been found, but was cruising the ocean for several more days. After paying for shipping, ...
