I choise this cruise because the cruise port was close to my house out stateroom was 13520.. i heard that you dont want a room under pool deck but i have to say i no problem sleeping or with noise . The state room was plenty of big enough for me and my Son. The shows were good and the two comedian s they had on the ship were very funny .we had a great time at coco cay and in nassau. We did ...

Main dining room staff & food were amazing! Stateroom was well maintained. Check-in was very smooth & painless. Room service was excellent. There weren't as many activities onboard as other cruise lines offer. The activities they did have were boring, repetitious, or required additional payment. Outside of the main dining area, food options were limited unless you wanted to pay even more ...

First Time Cruising With Royal - Extremely Unhappy

Our trip started off unpleasant, when we were embarking the RC staff member looked at me and then at my husband and asked if she as my husbands daughter. I felt discriminated and sadden by the lack of customer service. As we made onto the ship we immediately spoke with guest services who didn't seem to care and took down notes but did nothing to follow up with us while on board. The staff was ...

OK But Not As Good As Expected

We have never sailed out of Bayonne and wanted to give it a try. Our sailing was 4/7/18. With all our previous cruises departing from Florida, the cold the first 2 days was a shock. It limited any outdoor activities, since there's always a breeze while sailing, plus cold temps. The port was good until debarkation when they only had 2 (count 'em, 2) customs agents working for nearly 5000 people. ...

Room with bad smell. Asked to change and they did not even respond me. Virtual balcony did not work. A 16 years old boy jump off the cruise and died, so was a bad experience. The crew appear did not care about it, almost anyone tried do search the young boy. Me and my wife got off the cruise very very sad. I was on room 10127 on the ship Anthem of the seas that departured on april 7, 2018 and ...

Wanted to get away from the snow and cold, this trip hit the mark. Plus we took the bus and got dropped off and picked up right at the NJ port. Everyone from RC were so friendly and engaging. The ship was clean, the food was fantastic and the shows were great. I highly recommend trying the North Star, that was an awesome experience. We missed going to one of the restaurants because we didn't do ...

First Time Cruise - Surprisingly Impressed

This was a first time cruise for our family and it was easy to try because we live in the Northeast and took Anthem of the Seas out of NJ. I wasn't sure what to expect because I did not like Disney and did not know if this was going to be another Disney experience with lines for everything, crowds everywhere, horrible food (unless you are booked at the top resort i hear), crabby kids because of ...

First Cruise, Totally Blown away!

I booked when there was a great deal looking to try out cruising. I spent months day dreaming and planning. Before I went I grabbed the drink package, and prepaid all tips. The ship was beyond what I expected. The service was top notch and every staff member seemed like they wanted my family and especially the kids to have an amazing time. We had 10 in our party and 4 of them kids. Ship was ...

We had been on Anthem once before, last year to Bermuda, so we were excited to embark on a new itinerary with a ship that we now had knowledge of. Last time we didn't get to do the Ripcord experience so we were very excited for it and it was so much fun. We also didn't get to do any of the specialty restaurants last time and took advantage of a three restaurant deal this time. Chops grille was ...

Chops had the best steaks we have ever tasted! Would go again. My Husband did the Cape Canaveral tour and learned so much about NASA. We saw the ship from the North Star and was able to see how huge the ship really was. I was able to do the ripcord by I-fly. With the help of instructor H20. He was very calming and patience with me. I was sure I would be sick from nervousness, but he kept me calm. ...
