We choose RCI Anthem of the Seas for several reasons
1) we could drive to the port, it was 2.5 hours away.
2) the itinerary that went to San Juan, St Kitts, and Barbados where we have never been to
3) it was with Royal Caribbean - we thought a quality cruise line.

We have sailed with RCL several times aboard the Explorer, Quantum and Anthem. It seems to us that RCL is cheaping out. There is no filet mignon offered in the dining tables unless you want to pay more. Would one night kill RCL's budget to offer filet mignon? As it is getting more difficult to coordinate schedules with adult children, we paid a bit more to sail over NYE, tho sailing out of New Jersey kept airfare reasonable. We chose the Anthem as the onboard activities looked great, especially with young adult children.

I want to start by saying that the staff was truly amazing. They could not do enough! I had issues booking activities on board and was concerned because we would not arrive till just before 1:30. 1.We stayed over 2 go in our car cause of traffic which basically was controlled by the crew.
2.All tips are already automatically included ridiculously expensive and stuff is not trying to work hard
3.All my family members got sick from this ship

Used to park at ground level uncovered parking. Now they got covered parking garage.
Not good, but a hassle as need to take elevator and some running back and force. Especially when come back, could be a long line to elevator with luggage.
