Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Anthem of the Seas

We chose the cruise as we stayed in New York for a few days and were drawn to the itinerary and wanted sail out of New York. The cruise port (once you get there) was good, embarkation was easy and quick, disembarkation was good apart from RC managed to drop and split one of our suitcases, not sure how but they did. The layout of the ship wasn't as good as some we've been on, we missed the Royal ...

My daughter and I had cruised Anthem 2 yrs ago on the 4 night to Bermuda and while there were some issues on the cruise, we decided to try the 5 night to Bermuda. Overall, I was very happy with the cruise. Room- We again had a room with the large balcony at a good location near the elevators. The room was spotless and our steward, Carlton was very nice and provided me with extra towels ...

Our first cruise on the Anthem!! This is our biggest ship we have been on and absolutely loved it! The style and decor is so wonderful! The pools are beautiful and the solarium so pretty! We had an ocean view balcony on deck 8 but would recommend higher as the life boats were just below. The stateroom has so much storage and modern decor. We loved wonderland but missed the grand feel of the main ...

Family and I love cruising and do so often. I've been cruising since I was a teen and have continued that tradition with my family. (My kids are now teens themselves - how is that possible?!) We've cruised Royal Caribbean many times, last time on the Anthem. It was nice to go back to the smaller ship. We love the layout of the Adventure and ships similar to her. Overall, the ship is in ...

We recently returned from the 6 day Canada & New England Cruise (7/20/19- 7/26/19). We are in our late 40's with a teenage daughter. This was our 2nd time on the Adventure of the Seas (we had been on the ship in 2003), we've also sailed the Liberty of the Seas (2010) and Anthem of the Seas (2018), and this was our first Canadian/NE cruise. For perspective, we've also cruised on HAL, Celebrity ...

I have sailed on Norwegian, Carnival and Royal Caribbean. By far RCCL is my favorite. Excellent service, great food, activities and entertainment. On this cruise we booked a balcony (#8572) and was able to book all our meals, activities and shows (The Gift, Spectra, We Will Rock You) ahead of time on the cruise planner. We were also able to book another viewing of We Will Rock You while on ...

We chose this cruise first because it was to cruise out of Cape Liberty. The second reason we chose it was because it was a 9-day trip. We had cruised on a 7-day and a 9-day before having children. Last year, we cruised on the Adventure of the Seas with the children (for the first time) and they loved it, so we thought a few extra days would be great. We had a really great trip and the ...

We were a group of 10: My husband and I and our two boys (9 and 11), my in-laws and their 2 girls (8 and 10), and my parents-in-law. We had three separate cabins booked. Our family chooses cruises so we can enjoy time together and still have time apart. Boarding and disembarking in NJ was so fast it was almost head spinning. Disembarkation was a little crazy with just the sheer volume of ...

We chose this ship because of the destinations and the activities on board for young adults and children. The ship did not disappoint with regards to on board activities and ease of access to destinations. We were also pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and service in the main dining room, as well as the décor of the ship. We were pleased, having been on Norweigan and Carnival ...

Not The Adventure We Expected

We were so excited about this cruise but by the end of it disappointed in so many ways and also ill. We both had to see doctors within 48 hours of leaving the ship (full blown URI's). Yep, we did the wash your hands often, use the dispensers around the ship, don't touch elevator buttons, etc. But everywhere you went on the ship was sticky, stained carpets, the elevators at times were filthy. I ...
