Great ship, poor service

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Allure of the Seas

I chose this cruise because I wanted to share the experience of a nice ship and warm weather with a great friend. My cabin and overall experience on board was great. The dining room service was wonderful as was the food. My experience when being off the ship is another story. My first excursion on a glass bottom boat in the Bahamas was terrible. Not only did we see few fish, but I got injured ...

The last day of the cruise we received 3 phone calls to our room and a staff member woke us up at 7am. We paid To rest not to be bodered because we didnt have to leave the room until 9am. Also, there is no information regarding pictures that the photographs take you. I called to buy the pictures 3 days later and we can’t get them anymore. In addition, the rooms are old and not very well ...

Went on this cruise with my fiancé and his parents and my mom. Wanted to be on the largest class as it was my in-laws-to-be first cruise and I wanted to show off as much as possible. We stayed in Miami (Coconut Grove) for 2 nights before departure to explore Little Havana, Vizcaya and Miami beach. RCCL’s Terminal A in Port of Miami was amazing. The most seamless embarkation and disembarkation ...

Excellent choice for first time family cruisers

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Allure of the Seas

We chose the Allure for our first family cruise due to the wide variety of entertainments and facilities for both adults and teenagers. We weren't disappointed as everyone in our group had a fantastic time. The teenagers met a brilliant group of peers and have stayed in touch since we returned to the UK. The adults had a great time at all the shows and in the bars and restaurants. None of us ...

A rocky start but a good ending

We had several big hiccups on this cruise. Firstly when we made the final payment for our room the RC agent changed our room somehow in the computer from a six person balcony room to an ocean view. We were quite upset when we got on board and it took some time to find out what happened but guest services finally figured it out and they gave us a credit towards our next cruise. I have to commend ...

Great Cruise

Food, entertainment and staff all were great. Our waiter and assistant waiter could not do enough for us. We were a table of 12 and we always got out in time for all our shows. We had a 8:00 seating and shows were at 10:30. Hair Spray, and the water show were great. They also had a great ice skating show. We always got chairs at the pool. There was so much to do you never saw the 6,000 plus people ...

After 23 cruises my son talked us into going on a Oasis size ship. He came off the Allure of the seas earlier this year. The brand new cruise terminal was Very Chaotic. It was a mess because you can't have 8 buses, cars, limos, all dropping off people and their luggage at the same time. We arrived at about 12 noon for boarding. The luggage was handled good. The RCCL personal did everything ...

We chose this cruise because our cousin was taking it also and it was the world's largest cruise ship! It looked beautiful with lots of stuff to do. Upon arriving to the terminal we were a little leery seeing many people not really knowing what to do however when the door opened and embarcation process was quick and painless. Which was rather nice. We got onto the ship and headed straight to the ...

I spent most of my time in guest services because their app was not working properly and did not show reservations that were made. There were long lines for attractions on days that we were sailing. There were adequate lounge chairs. The view from the coastal kitchen is amazing, and they had the best food on the ship by far. Very disappointed in the customer service aspect. I feel that ...

Smoking in the casino

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Symphony of the Seas

User Avatar

My Husband and I like to go to the casino, however we do not go because of the smoking. I have health issues called A-1 Antipsan desise, I can not be around smoke, scented candles, cleaning supplies or anything that effect my lungs or breathing. PLEASE STOP SMOKING in the casino. The smoke is not contained to just the section you allow it, the smoke travels all around the small space, ...
