Crowded, crowded, crowded!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Symphony of the Seas

This is a one and done for us. I'm only just finished day 3 and cannot wait to get off this boat with wayyyy too many people jammed in. Everything is chaos and a hassle. Crew shrugs and says "well it's over 6k passengers". Nothing relaxing about having to plan every second of your day. Tables are so closely packed you can hardly navigate. Long lines for everything. If you like to take your time ...

Beautiful ship, great service, lacked some activities for the Sea Days

We enjoy cruising at Christmas - no cooking, no planning, no decorating, just enjoying time together as an extended family. Last year during our Western Caribbean Christmas Cruise on the Rhapsody, we pre-booked this cruise. We were looking forward to it as we've never been to the ABC islands. However, as we started looking at shore excursions, we found we were limited because we don't dive. We ...

Great ship but organization, food, and some service staffs needs improvement

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Mariner of the Seas

The ship itself was really great with lots of activities but organization needs improvements. There were many events that got cancelled at the last minute even after staff made people wait for over an hour. And there were events that never took place. Had a very nice experience with the head cabin crew and the dining crew but terrible experience with the staff working at the Cafe Promenade. ...

This cruise was a comp from M Life that we booked in May. I was a little hesitant based on some of the negative reviews and the fact that the ship is 15 years old. I am happy to say that I was wrong in my hastily preconceived notions. The embarkation was less than 10 minutes long which was incredible. The new Terminal A was brand-spanking new and glorious. We stayed in cabin 8248 which ...

Was a 50th anniversery gift we had an excelent time, the dinig was superb. The upscale restaurants went above and beyond with their service and quality. The room maid was very happy to assist in any and all of our needs. Boarding and debarker were made very easy with the compitent stap. I would cruise with Roayal Carribean again. Cabin was exquisit with more than enough storage, bath room ...

Overall, a well layed out, fun ship. Tons of activities to choose from. Service in the dining room was a bit slow but the food overall was very good. The dining room is very accommodating for special dietary needs. This cruise seemed to lack adequate wait staff around the ship in the public areas, especially around cafe promenade and sorrentos which were often crowded. Seems Diamond member ...

Background: I am a recently retired unmarried Federal employee in my early 60s to celebrate my retirement and recent move to a bigger home. I wanted to take a cruise during the post-Turkey Day period just before the holiday season drove fares through the ceiling. Other reasons for choosing this ship included: o It had the Solarium, the Samba Grill (inside the Solarium Bistro), the ...

First 7 day cruise

We chose this cruise to fit college break schedules. We had previously taken a 3 day "starter" cruise many years ago so this was a new experience. First lesson: Put a lot of thought into packing. You probably don't need all those clothes. Second lesson: Have all your paperwork ready and accessible, including passports, photo id,etc. This makes embarkation simple along with very helpful Royal ...

We had been on the Allure 5 years ago and liked it. This time, however, we did not realize that we would have to sign up for most of the shows before we even left home. As a result, we saw 2 shows both of which were excellent. (Mama Mia and Earl Turner) There was little else to do except trivia and bingo. The service in the Dining room was excellent with Michael and Patrice. The service in ...
