Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Allure of the Seas

Had credit to use. Food was mediocre. Nickel and dime for everything. Did not enjoy my experience, however, the entertainment was very good, especially Mama Mia. Ship is very well laid out and staff excellent. I did not like that you had to make reservations for everything instead of first come first served. Balcony cabins are extremely small with limited amenities. Specially restaurants ...

We are Diamond Plus Crown and Anchor Members. We have sailed with RCCL 26 times and Celebrity 2 times. We had sailed on the Oasis of the Seas in November on a holiday cruise and were greatly disappointed. Our main issue was the quality of the food on the Oasis and we had booked the Oasis because it WAS our favorite ship and had great food in the past. OK! That all being said we decided to take ...

We chose this ship because we wanted to experience ship this big. But mainly it has been dissapointment. Stateroom was Ok, we had an oceanview balcony. We ate our breakfast and lunch mainly in Windjammer, and the service was not good, tables were not cleaned very fast. There was enough people doing that but to me it seemed that they did not know what they were supposed to do. Dinner we ate at ...

We wanted to celebrate our 55 anniversary with my daughter, her husband and two teen age boys. We took three cabins on the same floor and were able to have dinner together every night. The service on the ship was outstanding. The staff was cheerful and helpful. Our room stewardess was funny and hard working. Tess could not do enough for us. The servers we had in every restaurant, whether ...

Great Time, Christmas Cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Symphony of the Seas

We had a great time on this cruise. Grandparents and parents each had balcony room, and 2 grandkids had interior room across the hall. Checkin and Checkout were very easy once we got in the building. There was a ton of traffic getting to the building, the backup was probably 15 minutes long. But how they get 6000 people off and another 6000 people on w/in a couple of hours is ...

Fantastic Family Trip! Beautiful Ship, lots of amenities, nice and helpful staff. Spoiled rotten in the Sky Suite Class and loved it! Did not feel the crowds at all. Getting off and on the ship at all of the ports was so simple and fast! We cruise every 4-5 years, this being our first time with Royal Caribbean. We chose the Symphony because we wanted to go on the World's largest cruise ...

Beautiful but too Busy

The ship is an amazing ship for family cruising. Especially children 8 and older. There’s plenty to keep them busy. If you have children, choose an aft cabin. All activities for kids are aft. Otherwise you will be walking half the the time. Plenty of restaurants both for children and adults. The dining staff in the main dining room which is cramped when the ship is full, were fantastic. The food ...

This is a one and done for us. I'm only just finished day 3 and cannot wait to get off this boat with wayyyy too many people jammed in. Everything is chaos and a hassle. Crew shrugs and says "well it's over 6k passengers". Nothing relaxing about having to plan every second of your day. Tables are so closely packed you can hardly navigate. Long lines for everything. If you like to take your time ...

Great ship but organization, food, and some service staffs needs improvement

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Mariner of the Seas

The ship itself was really great with lots of activities but organization needs improvements. There were many events that got cancelled at the last minute even after staff made people wait for over an hour. And there were events that never took place. Had a very nice experience with the head cabin crew and the dining crew but terrible experience with the staff working at the Cafe Promenade. ...

We enjoy cruising at Christmas - no cooking, no planning, no decorating, just enjoying time together as an extended family. Last year during our Western Caribbean Christmas Cruise on the Rhapsody, we pre-booked this cruise. We were looking forward to it as we've never been to the ABC islands. However, as we started looking at shore excursions, we found we were limited because we don't dive. We ...
