I was worried as this ship is the smallest and oldest of Rroyal Caribbeans fleet but I was greatly surprised!! We just got off the Icon of the Seas after it's 6th sailing. The ship is beautiful. Has so many wonderful things- but some negatives. Boarding was fast and easy- well organized- we entered Deck five- the promenade- it is spacious filled with many features of the Oasis class- but much wider and brighter- the Pearl is a beautiful structure on that level . It's old. It's small. It's trying to copy the big ships but fails. And therefore it's so crowded everywhere that's popular! Deck 5 -Promenade- is at least 2/3 smaller than bug ships. Miami was our port and we got thru security and onto the ship within 30 mins but I could see it taking an hour or more easily.
