Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

My wife and I originally planned to go by ourselves for a 10th anniversary cruise. Our honeymoon was taken on Freedom of the Seas back in 2008. However our childcare fell through and we had to rebook with 3 children ages 5, 2, and 7m. Our travel agent secured a Family Oceanview stateroom for us on Navigator and the total for the cruise didn't break the bank for us after adding the kids. We had ...

We choice this cruise for our 40th Anniversary. As fate would have it, Navigator was our 1st cruse ship we sailed on several years priviously. Our cabin was 1340, located on Deck 10, a Junior Suite. I must admit, we were impressed; Walk in closet, 2 robes, large vanity, even a tub! Of course the typical drawback, lack of power outlets. This was easily solved by bring along a surge protector and ...

This was our first cruise and it was great! The ship was very nice even though it was older. There was plenty of things to do to keep you occupied and relaxed. The food was amazing and our cabin, which was a balcony cabin, had plenty of room. Our room attendant was truly amazing and our waiters at our dinner service were so awesome that we requested to be seated in their section every night. ...

Short review: Ship was in good shape....no big wows but no big negatives either. Best weather we have ever had and sailing was smooth. Cabin was very nice and no issues. Everything in good working order. The water pressure in shower was great and hot water plentiful. We found the bed to be comfortable. Food was good....not outstanding...pretty much average. A new change in ...

My husband and I decided to surprise our friends who were already booked on this cruise. As walking around the ship to find where everything was, we walked through the casino and could not believe the smell. It was overwhelming like 25 people were smoking cigars, but the casino was closed. We went to the Windjammer for lunch and after walking around it a couple of times, the only thing I ...

After reviewing other guests comments regarding Navigator of the Seas, my wife and I decided on a brief five day cruise Beginning with the boarding process, we found the curb side baggage handlers to be obliging as long as they are provided with a gratuity. Our handler removed one of our tags which was secured by three staples. He acted in retaliation because he was not given a gratuity. With ...

It was a very funny cruise. I recommend it. The food was great. Nothing extraordinary but really good. The ship was modern and comfortable. We were in an intern cabin on the 8th floor. It was a modern cabin and not bad if you think that we bought the cheapest one. The dining was very assorted. My favorites among the entries were the Onion Soup and the snails. The meats and the pasta were ...

For what its worth, I have only been on one other cruise, 25 years ago, so I might not be the target audience here. The staff were all wonderful. Charming, and kind, willing to help. Spa services were great, fairly priced, a good value. Food was pedestrian at best. Chops was good and a great value, the chef table also good and a great value. Not anything I cant get any night of the ...

We arrived about 11:30 and were immediately processed to get on the boat. We were at the Windjammer having lunch by noon. We were told that our rooms wouldn't be ready until 1:30 and sure enough right on the dot our rooms were ready. At first I was put off by the smell in the hallway on our level (level 3). But after the first couple of hours the smell was gone. Everything was efficient and the ...
