Great Cruise, Service Could Be Better

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Independence of the Seas

First, it's important to know that I'm a loyal Royal Caribbean cruiser so I can only compare this to other RCCL cruises. Second, I'm not a constant complainer and I really do try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I have every intention of continuing to sail on RCCL. The good or great: The ship is beautiful, as are all the RCCL ships I've been on. Every venue is lovely, impeccably kept ...

Cruise was great except for the loyalty dept. which did not give us the perks we deserved for being diamond and diamond plus. The cabin was always clean, and the steward very helpful and friendly. Food in the dining room was presented well, and tasty. Service was friendly. We took an excursion in every port, and all were interesting, and the tour guides well informed. The ice show was always ...

Bad Introduction to Royal Caribbean

We booked our family cruise on Royal Caribbean out of South Hampton to launch the start of our vacation in England. We have cruised often and on many cruise lines, and we were excited to try Royal Caribbean. We had our children and grandchildren with us, so we were a multi-generational group. The ship itself was beautiful, but we were very disappointed with the service and the food, as well as ...

We chose this cruise based on the itinerary. We were able to book this trip on the Independance of the Seas during a BOGO sale so we were able to save some money. Even though we got it on sale, the cabin, Ship, and service that we recieved were anything but second rate. Our stateroom was well kept and clean, the cabin steward was pleasant and friendly as well as being very attentive to our ...

Back with Rc after a few years and had a great time!

Returned to RCL after a few years and still enjoyed it. The one change was a charge for room service, which we didn't need, although breakfast in the cabin is brought for free. The food we had, was great. Only had 2 shore excursions - one was late starting but we eventually did see everything we were promised; I got the impression that maybe the guide wasn't made aware of what we had been ...

I have cruised with Royal Caribbean on a number of occasions although never on this ship, we were very pleased with the smooth check-in, lunch in windjammer was busy when we got on board but this is always the case until rooms are available, room was clean and as expected. Room was very quiet and steward very helpful. Entertainment - ice skating show was very good, other shows were ok. Food ...

Great cruise for our family of 3 adults. So much to do and experience and food in all the venues was delicious! . Great cabins and staff couldn't do enough for us. Love RC as the best cruise line we have been on and this is our 8th cruise. The Romeo and Juliet dining room was gorgeous and felt special every night. Didn't use the speciality restaurants and the attentive staff and food was so ...

My husband and daughter chose this cruise, it's not something that I would have chosen since I like warmer weather. After some education, I looked forward to the cruise and was not disappointed. It is a long cruise at 12 nights but the variation between sea days and ports is good. The staff and crew were great, from embarkation to debarkation, we really didn't have any major problems. ...

Amazing experience on the Navigator of the Baltic Seas

We chose this cruise as we had several recommendations from family and friends the amazing experience they had all had while travelling with Royal Caribbean to the Baltic. The ship was breathtaking, with its many shops, bars, casino and amazing restaurants. It was an outstanding floating hotel which was spotless. However, my only criticism was there was a shortage of lounge seating which made ...

Food in the main dining room in the evening was slow to appear even though no table in our section was ever full The wine waiter gave me the wine list on day 1 from which I chose a red wine, I was never shown the list again and a glass of red wine was put in front of me with a second class already poured and waiting on the side for the next 11 days The entertainment staff would be better of ...
