Amazing 1st cruise

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

This was our first cruise and we loved it. Royal Caribbean staff were all very good and focused on ensuring we had a great time. We arranged our own travel to and from the ship which went well. The check in process was fairly seamless inc our bags being taken from back of taxi to our cabins so we could immediately enjoy and explore the ship. The cabins (spacious ocean views) did feel spacious. ...

Wonderful trip slightly spoilt by tired ship

Boarding in Southampton is so easy and the staff are very informative. Unfortunately there had been an outbreak of norovirus on the previous cruise but staff gave us all the advice we needed for us to stay bug free for the 2 weeks cruising. Once on the ship, it was obvious she was looking very tired and in real need of a facelift. We had a stateroom on deck 7 where the corridors absolutely ...

Our 3rd cruise with RC but this time with extended family. We love the informal feel of this company and had an amazing time however the choice of food in the main dining has got more restricted each time. The waiter did say we could ask for things not on the menu but when my daughter asked for Salmon and rice she was told that wasn't on the menu for tonight! Although the headline entertainment ...

Great ship, excellent food, very friendly stuff, great service, interesting activities. I felt very comfortable on the ship and they offer a wide range of great activities such as different dance classes, karaoke, lectures etc. Food is excellent: The Windjammer is a buffet restaurant where one can eat as much as they wish. For breakfast one can also eat in the more elegant Saphire ...

Honeymoon ... not that any staff recognised this. Having sailed on The Oasis previously, this cruise was way below the Oasis standard. Embarkation and disembarkation were good and fast. Cabin was good size but balcony a bit small. Sheets not changed in the 2 weeks we stayed but was kept clean. Dining in main dining room was excellent, food service was outstanding thanks to our waiter Omar. Mixed ...

Good cruise. Length of stay at each port too short.

PORTS: Good cruise although length of stay at each port too short; needs to be longer to make the most of each stop. Some of the disembarking at ports was rather chaotic, with queues of guests winding through several stair wells for some time Not great when the length of stay at each port is short. SUNBED: the sunbed/towel situation is out of control. No where near enough beds for the ...

Chav central, more like Benidorm

The was not a classy cruise. More like benidorm on sea! And some of the tattooed specimens on board would have been more at home there. Far too overcrowded. Impossible to get a sun lounger due to people reserving all day(and security doing nothing!). Also the photographers are very aggressive, grabbed my child when he was on his own and made him quite apprehensive of them. Royal Caribbean ...

Our least favourite - but still excellent

We picked this cruise mainly for our 15 year daughter who loves meeting teens from all over the world. 14 days and no flight sounded a good idea. This was our 4th cruise and 3rd one with RCI. While it was excellent it simply wasn’t up to the standard of our previous cruises on Rhapsody and Harmony. Far, far too overcrowded. Pros -Great food -Lovely staff -Stops all easily ...

First off, we have cruised over 20 times, many with RC. We are platinum members and this cruise put us in the Emerald class. We traveled on 6/30/18 from Southhampton on their Mediterranean Cities Cruise. Below are a few observations. 1. Food...It was cruise line food. Not bad, not great. There are two points. In the Windjammer there was a good variety but space was limited. My ...

Very disappointed with this cruise ship

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Independence of the Seas

We chose this ship as we enjoyed it so much last June. If the booking agent on ship had told us of the changes to accommodate more of families and teenagers we would not have booked. Not only has the ship got lots of entertainment for families but have increased the number of cabins but not increased the seating in the bars or general seating areas. In fact one night we wanted a drink before ...
