We wanted to check out the newly returned ship.
We like sailing the smaller/more intimate/classic styled ships and this seemed to fit the bill.
The prices were also VERY good.
(We booked a Junior Suite for 4 nights for about $550 ...
Wanted a quick getaway and it was very relaxing.
It's a small ship, you'll get to see the same new friends over and over again.
Being small, dinner service was tight. Our chairs backed up to a service station and we were bumped by ...
We are prior RC's Oasis and Freedom class cruisers, as well as Holland, Disney & Princess travelers. In summary, bigger is not always better. This sip is almost too big for its own good. Quality & consistency in service is lacking. ...
We wanted to duplicate our honeymoon cruise some 21 years ago. We flew down to san Juan 2 days in advance to take in the sites in Old San Juan and to sample the local restaurants. (Pannes restaurant in the Coronado District was so good ...
Boarding was excellent. Great service, staff were amazing. Really great shows and entertainment. Lots to do for children. The only thing I would recommend is a ocean view balcony as not a really nice bar were you can sit and watch the sea ...
The ship was the most boring cruise ship I've been on. The activities were repetitive and not very many activities for young adult (21-30). The island of Haiti was very disappointing, didn't get to experience real Haitian culture like on ...
This was my third RCL ship and my first Transatlantic crossing, I really have to say that it met all my expectations, Having just come back from a Baltic cruise on Norwegian as well, I give RCL higher points all around.
The ship is ...
The ship and it's features are really it's own saving grace as it is amazing. The rooms are spacious and the interior digital balconies are awesome and most of the crew was friendly and very helpful. This trip was a family gathering for ...
We just finished a wonderful back to back with the LOTS from Royal Carribean. We went with some friends we met on a previous cruise and had a blast. I can honestly say, I have no favourit ship, I think every ship we have sailed is splendid ...
As I often say, a review means little if you don't know the reviewer's prejudices and personality. So let me say that I'm a frequent cruiser from New York City. I go to the theater frequently, enjoy the NY Phil and dine out way too often. ...
the ship was great. this was my 6th cruise with royal caribbean and last. the service was not good at dinner. the servers around the pool were not there as much as other cruises i have been on.
took my son on royalcaribbean for frist ...
We sailed 06 FEB 2016 Eastern Caribbean and we had a great time. I found myself loving the ship more each day. We had a oceanview balcony cabin CAT D6 cabin # 11690. Nice and quiet, bed comfy and decent size shower with great water ...
We sailed out of San Juan January 24, 2016 on Jewel of the Seas. We stayed a night off of Condado Beach, which was a wonderful location with lots of shopping, beach, park and restaurants - even a Walgreens nearby. Costs of cabs varied - ...
We were in the Royal Suite. Pro: large space, clean, handsomely done. Cons: electrical switches did not turn on the stated lamp, ceiling light, bathroom light. Faucets in bathroom leaked. Large space with baby grand piano. And, the ...
This was our first Navigator cruise, but we have been on her sister ship, the Adventure OTS, before.
The staff in all venues - the main dining room, the Windjammer, the pool bar, and the Cosmopolitan room were always attentive ...
I am a totally inexperienced cruiser, I had never stepped foot on a vessel of this size before Nov 22nd. I learned one thing right away, never sail on a new ship with new technology...needless to say, maybe automation isn't the way to go ...
I love Royal Caribbean, but this by far, was it's worse.
The staff wasn't well trained - I asked the person at the guest services desk if I could purchase the bottled water package that included 12 bottles. He said there was no such ...
Where do i begin? From the chaos of not organising the coaches effectively taking us to / from the ship, to failing to top up the soft drinks for days on certain machines, to failing to clean slippery spills in a restaurant completely when ...
This was my fifteenth cruise overall, my second cruise with Royal Caribbean.
The ship was beautiful and appeared to be well kept. High points were many of the staff, particularly the bartending staff in the Champagne Lounge.
This was our 10th Cruise, the second on Royal Caribbean. The ship is older but does not feel or look as such.
-Super easy to get into the Port and your luggage is taken right away
-Easy embarkation (a previous review ...
we did the 10 days from vancouver to Hawaii this fall. loved the 6 sea days. the staff on this ship are so attentive and personable. lots of fun activities. Steve the CD and Jeremy the AD were both a blast and planned a great trip for us. ...
I wanted to LOVE this ship, I really did, but on leaving the ship after a very enjoyable weeks cruise I actually felt glad to be off it. I really don’t know why as what I am about to say it mostly positive.
Firstly, embarkation ...

Having cruised on all the big RCL ships I was a little anxious about our 5 night cruise out of Miami on the smaller Majesty of the Seas. We had booked with a group so didn't have much of a choice.
Loved the new Miami cruise tunnel. ...
Embark - I had heard that Baltimore was an easy port for embarkation. That is 100% correct. The only delay we encountered was getting through the security screening line. It was quite long and slow, but once we were ...
