Another great experience from Royal Caribbean

We cruise out of Galveston often because our whole family is from Texas and Arkansas. We have a long history of cruising with Royal Caribbean because my grandparents started cruising with them back in the 90's and the rest of us sort of followed suit. Given our almost exclusive experience with RCCL, I can't comment too much about how it compares as a cruise line to other cruise lines, but I can ...

I have been on 4 rccl cruises before and was on los last november and enjoyed it. this was our anniversary cruise. booked a promenade view cabin as there were no inside staterooms available. the ship is in very good shape in my opinion and my wife and i love the solarium. embarkation went smooth although the computers went down and we had a little wait for them to come up again. was on the ...

I was not Impressed....

I have cruised several times (over 10), including other RCCL ships and BY FAR this is the most disappointing. Our stateroom (Deck 2 Oceanview) had stained carpets.... marks on the walls and pretty worn out. The steward was pretty benign and not very helpful. The food in MDR was one of the saving graces. I was able to get Escargot every day, however the "First Night Done Right" deal at ...

I heard Royal Caribbean was the best choice for cruise ships and I wanted my first cruise to be perfect! It absolutely did not disappoint. Our steward knew our names from the moment we met and he always did as we requested and kept the room tidy when we were out of the room. The ship was clean. Hand sanitization and cleanliness was a big deal on this ship. Staff were always there to help with ...

We were ready to go back to Roatan. Plus Galveston is only 5 hours away. So booked this cruise. Since our last cruise on this ship during January. It seemed a bit better. The first thing we noticed was the hallway carpets seemed dirty. This included our cabin. Read the cabin review. We had dining in the 5th floor MDR. I was immediately taken aback when person after person filed in there like ...

A Little Underwhelmed, But Terrific People

We chose this cruise because we loved this ship when we sailed on it in April 2016. We remembered it to be very clean with great food and lots of fun. This trip (September, 2019) didn't quite measure up to our memory. But it was still a pretty nice get away. Enjoyable features for us = 1. The balcony 2. The family friendly version of the comedy show 3. The 70s and 80s dance parties ...

Summer end party

Met up with some friends from Texas that we had met on a previous cruise. We had a ball together and it was a great way to end the summer. We took our time to drive to Galveston, boarding was a breeze, the crew were great, not many kids, food was as good as expected - same menu. RCI should consider revamping their menus. The only criticisms would be 1) that they only had one hot tub open in ...

We had a wonderful trip on LoS. It was myself and my 31 year old daughter. The ship is beautiful decorated. The dining room has an elegant feel, even with all the hustle and bustle. Our stateroom was a very spacious ocean view, all the way port side, all the way forward, with 2 huge portholes! The views were outstanding. We had an armchair, a love seat and a coffee table in our room. The ...

Loved our cruise but did not like lay out of cruise ship. Having to walk thru Casino maze to get to theater is crazy and just wrong. They don’t even lay out clear path way. You have to dodge a lot of chairs and others. Never saw this on any other ship. Promenade shows are just not well done and it’s not the right venue. Royal has messed up Promedade by putting large Kiosks in the middle ...

Parents normally travel Carnival someone mentioned Royal Caribbean and Liberty of the Seas goes where we were wanting, and this was my first cruise. From the start they pushed us all in one spot and were where a safety speech was needed, it got a much more threatening tone then needed. It went down hill from there. Most the extras, rock wall that sort of thing were all closed, in fairness the ...
