A bit about us. We have sailed all of the Royal Caribbean Ship classes except Sovereign class and Quantum class. We have sailed from Ft Lauderdale, Tampa, San Juan, Seattle and Galveston. We are Diamond members and our cruising family are my Wife and I, both in our early 50s, and a 16 year old son and a 14 year old Daughter. So- Underwhelming. The ship was great, the staff was great. The food ...

The Worst Vacation Ever! Complete Waste of Money

They allowed smoking all over your ship, even in areas clearly marked as non-smoking. They definitely do not care about passenger safety. We purchased a balcony suite, and we could not even use the balcony due to all of the smoking on the nearby balconies. Security was called repeatedly, they would arrive 10-20 minutes later, well after the smoking was finished, not smell it, and refuse ...

Not comparable to Disney whenit comes to 'character events'.

Boarding was relatively easy and got thru customs without a hitch. All went very quickly as did disembarking on the return. We carried on 4 bottles of wine (2 for each stateroom is allowed). There were lots of things for the kids to do. They enjoyed ice skating, the water slides and especially being able to get pizza almost 'around the clock'. We did the character breakfast ($10 extra each person) ...

This was our first time taking a cruise out of Galveston (we live in Dallas) and spending Thanksgiving with family on a cruise. The drive was less than 4 hours, and we stayed at the Schaefer Haus Bed and Breakfast the night before. We highly recommend Schaefer Haus - the customer service was top notch, and they kept our vehicles for the week complimentary. Boarding took a while, as there are ...

We booked the cruise based on proximity to our home, ports visited and other family member recommendations. We were not disappointed. The ship is beautiful. Although very large and completely full, I only had one moment I felt it was overcrowded. It was a Thanksgiving cruise with over 750 children onboard. We saw lots and lots of multigenerational families. The children were well behaved and ...

Everything about the ship was wonderful. The crew was polite and attentative. The food delecious. Other than that, it was a rippoff. The carpet and rooms smelled like mold and mildew. You have to buy the privalage to dring anything other than water, even at dinner, that's fine. So you purchase a pass to drink sodas. The enternet is not very user friendly, and very exoensive for what you get. ...

Living only a few hours away from Galveston, it was an easy choice to choose Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Sea. We had a great time, great service from almost everyone. It never felt crowded. We had a balcony cabin which we loved. The room was large enough for our needs and we loved having the balcony to relax on after a full day. Our cabin steward was friendly and greeted us whenever we saw ...

Me and my mom were very excited to go on another Royal Carribean cruise, unfortunately we were very dissapointed this trip. Not only was the service terrible, we got billed for towels we did not check out (after the staff apologized for their error) we were late getting off the ship. Everyone was unsympathetic to this error made by staff which resulted in us missing our transfer and paying 225 CDN ...

Overall cruise experience was great! 6th time cruising and I have only cruised with RC. Food in windjammer was one of the best out of the 6 cruises I’ve taken. Entertainment was THE BEST out of the 6 cruises. MUST SEE – Saturday night fever and hyno-tainment! New to cruising – wait to shop on ship until end of cruise. They always run sales on clothing, bags, jewelry etc. Cabin -This is my 6th ...
