We have traveled this itinerary several times and enjoyed being with our friends and just relaxing We just enjoyed the ports and did not take any excursions. There were a lot of children on this cruise - unfortunately not all of them were well behaved!! The $2 mimosas were an affordable hit. The slot machines were lukewarm. The hot stone massage was heavenly and much appreciated. The library did ...

Very large, but relaxing ship

We were a couple with our college age children and found this ship relaxing, and surprisingly, it did not feel all that crowded. We were able to find pool chairs when we wanted, and spent most of our time in the adult Solarium. The elevators were crowded and slow, but we prefer the stairs anyway, and our cabin on deck 7 made it so that nothing was too much of a climb. Our kids did the skating, ...

My husband and I have never been on a cruise. A couple that we know have been on this particular ship before and made it sound as though it would be perfect for first time cruisers who didn't want to be around a bunch of kids. We decided to take this cruise along with them. We decided to book a Jr. Suite because online it had a bigger balcony which is what we were interested in. We made sure ...

We decided to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary doing what we love to do. Cruising! we were also joined by my cosin and his wife who were also celbrating their 50th. Being Diamond members and living close to Galvenston made the decision to sail Liberty of the Seas very easy. Although the Galvenston termanal needs much to be desired, Embarkment was very easy. We were on the ship in no time at ...

Liberty of the Seas: December 9-16, 2018. My husband and I are 63 and 76 years old, and we were traveling by ourselves, although we were meeting up with friends whom we have met on other cruises. We chose this particular cruise because it departed from Galveston, which was within driving distance (less than 1,000 miles) for us, eliminating the need for us to fly. We were traveling for the ...

My wife and I have been wanting to go on a cruise for years but never had the nerve to go cold-turkey. A couple at church mentioned that they were going on their 4th Cruise and invited us to join them on Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas. Our travel agent helped us select a basic cabin on deck 2 that had a view to the ocean. The room was about the same size if a typical hotel room and was ...

My wife and I sailed aboard Liberty of the Seas Dec. 2-Dec. 9. The ship offers many unique experiences including a water park, two water slides, a tidal wave ride, flow Rider and a new 9-hole miniature golf course. The entertainment was great...In the Air was a show based on Cirque Du Soleil and we had Nathan Osmond, Donny and Marie's nephew, a budding country artist on board. The Dubois ...

Better Than We Expected

We chose this cruise because of a Regional At Sea Bridge Tournament, without much interest in the cruise ports, because we planned on taking advantage of the daily duplicate bridge sessions. Previous reviewers had given "OK" reviews for the ship, and mediocre reviews of the main and deck 11 dining venues. We were much more impressed with both the ship and the main and buffet dining venues than ...

Liberty of the Seas is an excellent ship that is well maintained. It lacks a little bit on activities but was quite nice. The Windjammer buffet was good for breakfast or dinner but fell short with its lunch fare. The MDR was a bit disappointing but I guess that is just the offshoot of having specialty dining options. Overall it was a fun cruise and would recommend. Ports of call included Cozumel, ...
