Too many children, noise, lower quaity food

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Liberty of the Seas

We liked the idea of galvestion sailing so no plane ride, we hoped the kids would be back in school (wrong). We have been on RC relocation cruises which were terrific. The food seems of lower quality and variety than our past RC cruises. Lots of food spills in the buffet area. Ship seems to have been remodeled so there is less adult pool and more children's pool. No outdoor eating area. ...

Was convenient to our home and easy travel day of the cruise. Galveston is an easy port to find parking. We arrived at approximately 1030 and check in was easy and we were on board for lunch by 1110. We explored the LOS to get our bearings and our stateroom was ready by 100. Our bags were delivered by 300. Stateroom was a little small for three adults, but we figured it out. Bathroom ...

My family of 4 (17 and 15 yr old boys) do like cruising. This is my 14th. We live only 30 minutes from house to Galveston terminals so do take advantage of the convenience. We did New Year's Eve on Voyager of the Seas several years back from Galveston and have always talked about that particular cruise. We've also done Thanksgiving and Xmas but prefer to be home for those. New Years, on the ...

We chose this cruise because it sails out of Galveston, and since my family of 5 was all going, we did not want to have to pay air-fare to fly to Florida or San Juan. I read a lot of reviews before booking. Many of the reviews complained about the size (crowds) or the food (bad). Neither of these were problems for us. We sailed over Christmas, and while there were a lot of people on board, we ...

We are a family of 20 ranging in age from 82 to seven. For a few of us, this was their first time cruising. Most of us have cruised 15 - 20 times. We think this is a great family vacation for a large group because there is always something going on to suit each individual. We booked this 21 months in advance and had a string of Jr Suites on deck 10. We flew from Denver to Houston the day ...

Liberty of the Seas, December 23 – 30, 2018 Route: Seven day cruise: Galveston-Roatan-Costa Maya-Cozumel-Galveston. 1. General Comments: A pleasant Christmas cruise. We are regular cruisers and while we have been on this route before, this was our first time on this ship. Purpose of this cruise was to just RELAX. We booked a “spacious balcony” cabin on the seventh deck. We also ...

This is a review about our first cruise. We are (wife) Lisa, (daughter 28) Natalie and myself Kevin. About 2 years ago, I asked my wife what she wanted to do for her 50th birthday which was on 21st December 2018. She said she wanted to go on a cruise. So we started to look at different cruises and watched YouTube videos. We decided on Liberty of the Seas with a cruise itinery of Cozumel, ...

Fun Family Cruise

We decided on this cruise because of the ports of call and the ships amenities. Myself, wife, sons 18 & 20, daughter 14, and my son’s 20 year old gf. We stayed in two interior adjoining cabins which worked great for the group. We really didn’t spend much time there anyway. The cabin was clean, in good condition, and our cabin attendant Devin took great care of us and the cabin. The ship was still ...

We have been on the liberty three times. We booked it thinking it would fun to take our two girls now 5 and 7. Royal promenade room—- Noise, noise and noise. When we booked the lady told us it wouldn’t be a problem since I was concerned about this. No balcony rooms were available so we choose the two promenade rooms right together. I could hear the music playing constantly and esp at night ...

This was my second cruise overall but my husband has cruised his entire life. This was our honeymoon cruise. We both hated this cruise! The food was horrible no matter where you ate (dining room, cafe, pizza). Coffee was horrible!!!! The ice cream machine was broken or being cleaned every five minutes it seemed like so we only got it one evening. My strapless bra was taken from our room on Monday ...
