Background information This was our 20th cruise and 5th on Royal Caribbean (we last cruised with RCI in October, 2017, on the Vision of the Seas). We needed a break from our cold winter and this 10-night itinerary suited our requirements. We booked the cruise in July 2016, after receiving some good information on promotions from RCI. We had cruised on a sister ship to the Serenade, the ...

We chose this cruise for a "get out of winter" vacation. Have been on the Serenade before but noticed some things that have changed. It was obvious they are trying to save $$ to put into the new big ships coming down the pike. There was less staff in the main dining room and some wait staff you could tell were new. They all were rushing around and sometimes forgetting things. No time to talk ...

We chose this cruise because of the low cost, the company, and the trip destinations. Our room was kept very well clean and the attendant was very nice and worked hard. Our main dinning room waiter and asst. waiter worked hard to get what we wanted, however, we ran into three problems. One we waited too long between servings because I believe they had to many tables to cover. Two, I was upset that ...

We've been on the Serenade several years ago on a Mediterranean cruise (R/T Barcelona with Cannes, Florence, Naples, Rome, Venice, Ravenna, and Dubrovnik as the ports ). The ship is just the right size for us. The dates and ports were good as there were two new ports (St. Croix and Martinique) and favorite old ports: St. Thomas, St. Kitts, and St. Maarten. We also like the Solarium pool area, ...

I am Diamond Plus and received a 300 cabin credit (issued on a Fall cruise in 2017) for this cruise. Could not pass it up and so I got out of winter weather at home. I prefer the Transatlantic (take this twice a year) for the activities and entertainment. This cruise was so so. People cruising the Atlantic for at least 12 days are more friendly and have interesting stories of their ...

My husband and I have been on many cruises, but this was our first on Royal Caribbean. RCL would easily rank at the bottom of the list. Luggage: We found our luggage down the hall from our room when we boarded. When we got off the ship, our luggage should have been in area 24 but it wasn't there. We asked an employee and they told us to look around. We found it in are 42. Cabin: Our ...

Good ship but could use some updating

We chose this ship because of the ports it went to. Arrived at port and check in went pretty smooth. We had a delay in getting on because someone on the previous cruise had gotten sick so they had to sanitize everything. Once onboard we were directed to the food. We ate and explored some of the ship. Went to our room and our luggage was already in the hallway. Our cabin was a balcony room and very ...

We arrived in Ft. Lauderdale the day before embarkation, went to Aruba's for a delicious seafood dinner, walked the pier. The next day boarding the ship was easy and smooth. The ship was perfect size not too big as we like personalize attention. Dining room experience was excellent. Would definately sail FOS again. The balcony cabin 8378 was very spacious with a lot of storage space and places to ...

Love the 8 night cruise, that extra night just makes it so nice. Did a Day Pass in St Kitt's at the Marriot, really great resort, 3 pools, swim up bar and awesome pool/beach dining. Did Eden Beach at Hawksbill Resort in Antigua a clothing optional beach. Very private with a beautiful beach. Not very crowded. All beaches are free. LOVED Abe the cruise director and the entire activities staff, best ...
