We really enjoyed our trip aboard Harmony of the Seas. We had previously been on board Allure of The Seas, so we sort of knew what to expect with an Oasis Class Royal Caribbean ship, and this allowed us to have a feel for the things we wanted to do as well as to stay away from, such as the long lines in the main dining room that people have expressed disappointment about, etc.
With all that ...
We set sail from Fort Lauderdale on the 3rd February, and spent two days travelling to our first port of call at St Kitts. From there we set off to St Maarten, then onto San Juan and finally Haiti.
The weather was beautiful, the staff onboard the ship really were exceptional. All staff were great but especially the restaurant staff in Galileo's around table 30-38, they really stood out. ...
This was my first cruise. For years I put it off because I thought that I would hate being on a ship for so long....I thought that I would be bored. Well was I ever wrong!
My experience started off with me checking in. I can't believe how easy that was. I dropped off my bags, went through security, checked in with the front desk and walked on the ship. This took no longer than 20 - 30 ...
We choose this cruise because we had cruised on its sister ships before and loved them. We were not disappointed. Had a fabulous time. Shows were outstanding. Couldn't tell which was best. This ship was our destination, who cares about ports. so much to do on ship. It is amazing that on a ship with over 6,000 guests, you never feel crowded. Boarding and departing a breeze. Love, love, love ...
We love Royal Caribbean, and although we sailed on many RC ships, this was our first time on the Freedom. She did not disappoint. The food in the main dining room was good and the service was great. Service in the bars was excellent as well. We ate in Chops four times, and it was always consistently great. We did not plan on going to Giovanni's, but they had a sale toward t he end of the ...
Wanted to experience the "Biggest Cruise Ship in the World". As expected, there are pros and cons when you have over 6100 paying passengers on board.
Entertainment is definitely top notch and most likely cannot be equaled by any other ship of lesser size. Broadway class entertainment, ice skating show, aqua show and other comedy and musical offerings could be on other ships but not all of ...
The Harmony of the Seas is a beautiful Ship with numerous activities. The seas days flew by due to the amount and variety of activities. Food was great and staff was friendly. No complaints here.
We have travelled the Caribbean extensively and at this stage the Ship is far more important than the ports of call. This ship met our expectations. Cabin was roomy and comfortable. We had an ...
Freedom of the seas was a great cruise ship in its prime, but 12 years later it’s aging poorly. The ship is beautiful but not well maintained. Public restrooms didn’t work at times, smell of sewer threw out parts of the ship, 50% of arcade games didn’t work properly (lots of broken buttons). Some elevator buttons didn’t work. Railing on front of ship/helipad was tied together with rope, very ...
The most disappointing RC cruise we’ve ever been on. The level of service, condition of the boat and food quality and delivery have reached the point of no return for us.
There has been an apparent cut of staff and quality of goods to increase profitability that will only serve to eventually create more dissatisfied customers.
The dining experience has become a follys. Staff cuts have ...
We wanted to experience being on the biggest ship in the World! Harmony of the Seas did not disappoint us at all. This is a beautiful ship with a great staff who are there to meet your every need and make your cruise the best ever. The entertainment is top notch! The ice shows are amazing, we felt like we were spectators at the Olympics. The theater productions are also outstanding. Not only are ...
