We chose Harmony because we thought it would satisfy everyone's needs and interest. And after the cruise, we were not disappointed! We ate at 4 different specialty restaurants and the quality of the food was excellent. We had no complaints about the buffet or the main dining room. We appreciate they used hand washing stations before entering the buffet and wished all the ships had this ...
Fantastic ship, crew and experiences. Found it difficult to even want to leave the ship for ports. We have been to many of the Ports and countries already so leaving the ship is not a priority for us unless there is a tour that is of interest. In fact we enjoy the ship when most folks are ashore. Star Class and the Aquatheater suite are experiences you should not pass up.
The Officers, crew ...
My family just got back from the February 3, 2018 sailing on Harmony of the Seas. We were a group - my dh, our two boys (ages 6 and 8), my dh's mother and aunt, my friend and her dh and their twins (age 6), and two other friends.
We had two interconnecting interior staterooms in the forward part of deck 6. My mil had her own interior stateroom, my dh's aunt had her own balcony stateroom. All ...
Our family of six adults had a truly wonderful vacation on Harmony of the Seas. I had travelled on Oasis and Allure in the past and couldn’t wait to share the Oasis class experience with my grown kids. We all found our favourite spots onboard pretty quickly. The glass bump outs with loungers located along the deck 5 running track don’t exist on the other Oasis class ships and they proved quick ...
All in all everything was great, food, service. We all had the drink package and put it to good use. We always take a cruise in February and travel in a group of family members ranging in age from 20's to 70's. This was our fourth RCI cruise. We have done two Norwegian cruises and you can't help make comparisons. Some things are better on Norwegian and some things are better on Royal Caribbean. ...
This was my first cruise. I went with my wife and our 2 kids, along with my parents and some friends. The ship was great, our stops at St. Kitts, St. Maarten, San Juan, and Labadee all went great. San Juan was a little dirty but the Old Fort area was beautiful. St. Kitts was my favorite stop, we went to Cockleshell Beach. St. Maarten still has damage but is operating well, we hung out at Great Bay ...
Normally we cruise on the smaller ships. Now 70+ cruises under our belt. Because of all the TV advertising of the Harmony we decided to give it a try. Our cabin was on deck 3 cabin 3654 next to the elevator right below where you board. It was a perfect location. When you exit the ship in port, you return and go up an escalator , yes escalator. Where does it take you. About 50 feet from our state ...
I choose Harmony for the ship itself. I have been to all ports of call before and had no interest in getting off the ship, just exploring it. The ship itself is beautiful. I traveled as a solo and stayed in one of the small singles cabin which has a large window and was definitely spacious enough for me (and possibly a spouse if traveling as a couple). Grease and The Fine Line aqua-show were ...
We flew in to FLL the night before and stayed at a Airbnb about halfway between the airport and port. We had an Uber XL take 4 of us and a crazy amount of luggage from the airport and to the port the next day for $16 each trip. Well worth it.
We left for the port about 11 on departure day and did experience some unusually busy (in our experience) security checkpoints before we even got into ...
I felt this ship was a little smaller than some of the others and would suit me better.
I was right and it was easy to find your way around. The shows were worth the price of the ticket as I come from a small town where I do not have the opportunity to see such wonderful entertainment.
The cabin was bigger than we thought it would be and having a balcony was a very good decision. I would ...
