First, a quick not about us: we're from South FL, and have decided that we love cruising, we've been exclusively on Royal Caribbean for the past few years to build up point in the C&A loyalty program. We've been on 6 cruises in the past 16 months on 4 different ships... now on to the review...
The Freedom of the Seas is the perfect size ship for a lot of people. A great many amenities and a ...
We chose this cruise because we wanted to experience the Allure of the Seas while also sailing to the Caribbean.
Despite the ship being sold out meaning over 6,000 were onboard, we never felt crowded, cramped, or found ourselves waiting in lines for a very long time.
The main dining room had terrific food, but service felt rushed. It was hard to get to know the waiters each night, and one ...
My wife and I cruised with my daughter her boyfriend and our son and his family. We have curised multiple times with Royal Caribbean and each time the included services go down. They seem to get their hand deeper into my pocket each subsequent cruise. I mean really, do you need to charge for bottled water?
The quality of the food was not great. The buffet was similar to going to the Old Country ...
The ship provided great activities for both adults and kids. The themed "Boardwalk" parade was amazing, plus there were specialty breakfasts with meet and greet opportunities with the characters for the children. Our granson also enjoyed a couple of days making friends in the 'Kid Club' Additionally, the Aqua theatre had great shows to entertain everybody and the staff ensured the shows were ...
We choose that ship because it's the right size and very easy to navigate around it the gym was really nice ,the staff was very pleasant..it could use a little upgrade, the specialty dinning was very good...my only complain would and it has nothing to do with RC is that there is still some people going to the public bathroom and not washing their hands after their buss...to me that is very ...
Our son and daughter-in-law treated us to this cruise with their family. We had a rough year with surgeries and complications. It was a much needed vacation. We've been on other cruises with this line and other lines. So far, this one is our favorite. The people who served us in the dining room and did the housekeeping were the best on the planet. Best shower, great pressure and easy to ...
We chose the Allure of the Seas because we wanted to try one of the big, big ships. We had never sailed on an Oasis class ship; in fact, we had never sailed with Royal Caribbean before. We had sailed exclusively with Princess and Celebrity. We do not regret our decision to sail on the Allure of the Seas.
We flew from Ottawa to Fort Lauderdale on February 23 and stayed in the Courtyard on ...
Great ship just don't forget the walking shoes! Our room was right in the Center of the ship. So we found it easy to access everything w the least amount of walking. Was afraid I would feel crowded w so many people but I never felt crowded w the exception of the promenade sales :) But I still went to get the deals!
Food was fantastic, anything you wanted your received. Staff was great in ...
I was lucky to have a family member book our cruise with Freedom of the Seas. The ship was beautiful, clean and had lots of shops and dining. Our balcony room cabin was top notch, very clean and surprisingly spacious - the pictures we saw before we sailed did not do justice. We only had a few hours of swaying because of the weather, but overall you will not feel the ship rocking, the captains ...
This was our 5th cruise with Royal Caribbean and we love it! The Allure was very large and a bit overwhelming, but we still enjoyed it very much!
Some key points -
1) Embarkation was very smooth. Took maybe 5 minuites to check in & get on ship.
2) Booking shows - On all our other trips we could just walk into any show at any time (Independence, Navigator & Enchantment). On the ...
