Bigger Not Always Better

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Harmony of the Seas

My perspective is from a seasoned mature cruiser with over 25 cruises including most of the popular cruise lines. The food & service were fine in both the Main dining room & Windjammer Buffet. Other restaurants we liked are the Solarium Bistro & the Park Café all at no extra charge. Shows were a mixed bag the much touted Grease was too long at 90 minutes. The Music was OK, but the dialog ...

The food is awful; air conditioning is non existent; avoid Haiti

Definitely, avoid RC excursions; ABSOLUTE BEST excursion in St. Maartin is the small group sail with randomwind.com Avoid Haiti at all costs -- the beaches are like swimming in a disgusting pond; their were wild dogs coming off the mountains into the RC eating area; as you were eating lunch, locals were picking through the trash; food was awful. The food on RC has gone from 5 star down to 0 ...

Excellent Experience on Harmony of the Seas

I chose Harmony because my sister has taken this cruise before and loved it. We loved it as well. My favorite deck was the one with Central Park as it had like 1400 trees and plants there. My only complaint is that the availability of Rest Rooms while in St Marten and Puerto Rico was extremely limited which caused interruptions of the islands tour and therefore making is not as good as it could ...

Below average, not what we expected

We wanted to experience the harmony and what we got was a below average experience. The food could be compared to cafeteria food, examples chicken parm with mashed potatoes, the verity on the food had no pop or wanted you to try it, the deserts where frozen or had no taste. Haiti was the worst experience of the cruise, dogs running around eating area, locals picking from trash pails while ...

MOST HORRIBLE VACATION EVER!!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Harmony of the Seas

Royal caribbean’s harmony of the seas was the most horrible vacation ever!! This “vacation” was a waste of my money, caused me stress, and i will never go on rc again. And up until this point rc was my preferred cruise ship (i took rc on all cruises except 1). But never again!! FOOD AND SERVICE: We couldn’t get regular dining so we had to get my time dining. We made reservations for every ...

Harmonious on Harmony Of The Seas

We switch from RC cruises and Celebrity - I like the big new ships so we chose Harmony. I think that RC has come down a few notches - they have cut back on lots of perks for the same prices but it is ok. Maybe we don't need those perks. We had a 10th deck cabin toward the back on the same side as the restaurants. Quiet room. Large stateroom with balcony (a must have) The cabin was very nice. ...

Cruise was recommended by our friends/travel agent . We stayed two nights in Fort Lauderdale before cruise and shopped a lot , it was great. Getting to the ship was easy , first thing I noticed on board was the cleanliness of the ship, our cabin was clean and cared for really well. We ate at the windjammer for all breakfast meals and some lunch , it was great , they handle crowds swiftly . We ate ...

Royal Caribbean is the best! Excellent food, smooth embarkation & disembarkation. Spacious cabins with plenty of storage (we had a balcony room), both for hanging & drawer storage. Friendly & knowledgeable personnel. Fantastic service. Plenty of pools & hot tubs. Lovely solarium for both sun and shade lovers. Top notch entertainment & activities. Beautiful fitness room with the best equipment. ...

Great time but don't like the nickel and dime

We Cruise will cribbing regularly and really like the line. Although this cruise I will admit I didn't think the food was as good as it's been in the past and I'm getting really tired of every time I get on a new Cruise there's more of the nickel and diming. I'm already paying a hell of a lot of money for this Cruise why do I got to be nickel-and-dime 7/8 bucks here and there for stupid stuff they ...

Great Transatlantic Cruise

We chose this cruise because it had an itinerary that covered a lot of our bucket list. We were not disappointed; the ports of call were wonderful. Embarkation was seamless; we were on the ship in 10 minutes after arriving at the dock. The weather in Lauderdale was beautiful but that quickly changed after the first day at sea. Unfortunately we were unable to get much time on deck unless we ...
