Lacks Quality Service, but Overall Great Ship

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Freedom of the Seas

We traveled as a family with our 2 year old son. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary as well as 'babymoon' with our 2nd child being due later this year. Overall, ship features were great, but service was very poor. PROS: 1) Embarkation super quick and easy 2) Splash area for kids on deck 11 very large and nice 3) Tons of storage space in the cabins 4) Balcony railing is ...

Handicapped Cabin 6615

This cabin is a promenade cabin, designed for handicapped, however, the noise level should have been noted. The music was exceptionally loud on this cruise. I have been on Freedom a few times and never experienced such loud music. It was difficult to speak with guest services, during loudest times the bed in our room actually shook. This should be noted in the booking when selecting this room. ...

The ship is very large and I had no sea sickness. The food is 5 star and the wait staff is wonderful. Our stateroom attendant was friendly, kept our room spotless. I would definitely recommend Royal Caribbean. The only thing I didn't like was the escalator going to customs, after we left the ship. Very hard to ride down with our suitcases as we did the self express. Our captain, ...

We live in Florida and it is only a 3 hour drive to Fort Lauderdale. Arrived about 2 PM and no line to get on. Able to eat a late lunch. Chose this cruise to experience the Harmony and we were very pleased. We have been to the ports many times therefore we stayed onboard except for Cozumel to buy vanilla. Had a Grand Suite which was very comfortable, large enough for two, a lot of storage, big ...

Great cruise overall. Friendly staff, staterooms were great. Massive ship awesome amenities and activities. Lots of people on the ship but only felt crowded occasionally. Food great, sports of call good, though Jamaica I could have skipped. Labadee their lsland is great. Entertainment and shows were awesome. Loved the rock climbing walls, surfing, water slides, abyss slide, etc. Only two ...

I love RC but this was not a hip or fun cruise ... not many single or youn adult things. The nightlife was awful and boring. The comedian was the same every day unlike others that changed them in port of calls the casino was smoky even on non smoking side and the robot who made drinks was awful. They need to remove that Robot.. get happy bartenders and add a martini bar or something else. The ...

We are regular Royal Caribbean cruisers (16 cruises). Well let's say we were. Royal Caribbean has decided it wants to compete with the Disney ships. There were over 350 kids on the ship. Surprise! Also, they do not enforce their own rules on dress code in the dining room, Diamond member requirements to attend private functions, and more. They used to care, now they don’t.. People are wearing ...

My wife and I have been addicted to cruising ever since our first one. Since the first one we have been adding people to our cruise trips (currently 20 guest on last week's cruise on freedom of the seas). This was until our 4th cruise. All 4 cruises have been with Royal Caribbean, Independnce, liberty,Oasis, and Freedom. We are disapointed to say we will problybe looking at destination ...
