We were disappointed in the following:
1. The adults only solarium area on the ship had kids in it all the time. We even said something to someone and their response was “well as long as their parents are with them they will be fine”. Very disappointed. We came without our kids so we didn’t have to deal with them and the only adults only place allowed kids in there
2. There was supposed to ...
First and foremost I want to recognize the staff more importantly 2 of which spent time getting to know us . One whom we only interacted with twice and the other everyday sometimes twice , three times. Both of their names are Janice . Janice served our dinner twice in the MDR , in the short period of time , she learned enough to know what we liked and didn’t like and easily the next dinner we saw ...
I have cruised on Royal Caribbean for a number of years now and they are the only cruise line I will go on. The restaurants and food are always great and there has never been a problem on any of the ships. The staff is always very friendly and no matter what time of day you see any of them they always greet you with a smile and are willing to help with whatever you need. The ship is always kept ...
Second time on Harmony of the seas! My favorite ship so far.
Pros:
- Huge ship with lots of activities to do. Usually you like an activity or two, but on Harmony, we had such a great time. From waterslides to its Jazz bar to a child-free solarium area with bliss and drinks!
- Food, on average, is the best of any company I've been to. There were some bad dishes, but overall everything ...
We were so disappointed when we learned ( after we boarded) we had to book all on board shows ahead of time.- we didn't get the full experience of the cruise. When I called RC, they wanted to help me book excursions, but they never said--{hey can we help you book your shows on board). When you are on vacation, you hope you have some flexibility in your schedule---That is what VACATION is all ...
POOLS: Three tiny pools with literally thousands of people packed around them. By the end of the cruise the pools were so gross (assuming from all the people and urine in them) that we decided not to even go in.
FOOD: The dining was good for the first two days, then the menu got old REAL fast. Each night, the menu had all the same items except for two options that changed. We felt like they ...
I loved Royal Caribbean and I wanted to love this cruise, but they made it impossible. They couldn’t get out of their own way! Restaurant reservation hours were 9-4, but they would let the phone ring until it hung up on you, dirty dishes left in my children’s state room from prior guests, ship staff changing my schedule and inserting activities in the middle of my dinner, dining room staff ...
We have been Disney cruisers but based on others reviews thought we would try RC since our kids are getting older. The Harmony of the Seas is huge and jammed with people. For as much experience as RC has I would have thought they would be better at handling the crowds. Expected lines one some of the extreme activities but not at every meal. Windjammer would offer special entrees like stir fry ...
This was my 13th cruise overall, 7th with Royal Caribbean, 3rd in a row on an Oasis-class vessel. Once again Royal Caribbean delivered another unforgettable cruising experience. The sports staff was great and hence my presence on the sports deck was frequent. The food was fantastic especially at Chops Grille. We only ate at one specialty restaurant. The service in the main dining room was good ...
After cruising on disney for half a dozen cruises perhaps i had unrealistic expectations. Nonetheless felt the crew was less service oriented, tired, and seemingly annoyed by the passengers.
Boat was quite impressive but definitely not sold on rccl and doubt we will try them again.
Did reinforce how disney leadership continual presence and training pays off. Didnt see any active ...
