My mom lives in South Florida between Port Everglades and Port Miami and we have done several fun short cruises to the Bahamas and Royal Caribbean was our favorite one. My 12 year old son was obsessed with doing Harmony of the Seas and I was curious to try it for a full week so we were off to vacation this summer. This is not our first cruise on the Oasis class so I find us doing some comparison between all the Oasis ships. The ship is similar to the other Oasis class with the difference of the slides, shows, and some other tweaks. Have been on many RCI cruises and on Oasis and Allure. So we were excited for Harmony. Its been 2 years since being on RCI and things have changed for the worst. We are a Diamond Plus couple and have sailed Harmony before. Liked it so much we returned. Had a credit from earlier cruise so moved up to a Sky Class Suite (8654). Extra benefits were very nice.

*If you like amusement park crowds and lines this is the cruise for you.
*Don't try to use any of the pools on sea days.
*The buffet food is on par with Hometown Buffet quality. Get in the cattle line.

We chose Harmony of the Seas because of the amenities and size of the ship. I didn’t even feel the ship rocking once. They have good stabilizers on the ship. My husband gets very seasick on cruises but he didn’t need to take his medicine once. There was so much to do on this ship. We were in a Grande Suite, Deck 9. We booked this cruise because my sister in law needed to be back for school which starts today. We get along fabulously.
