Fantastic Cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Anthem of the Seas

This was our first cruise with Royal Caribbean. We previously switched from another cruise line because of recommendations from friends plus we wanted to try it for ourselves. When we arrived to Bayonne, NJ, the entire process to get on the cruise was effortless. Where it took us over an hour the last cruise we went on, it took us roughly 15 minutes with Royal. Our cabin was great. We had the ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Serenade of the Seas

I choose this ship because the itinerary that was excellent, specially for the 3 day stop at St. Petersburg (Russia). The embarkation process was very smooth and quick, no more than 5 minutes to complete all process. The ship is small and quite old but it doesn't seem old just not modern. The Ship has all what you need to expect from a RCI cruise, big atrium, pools, kids zone etc... In ...

We cruised, not impressed. 17 family members total. Two parents, four (42-36yr old siblings), eleven (1-17r) of those offspring. I’m not and will never be impressed with the noise levels at night in the rooms. Disco night was the first night and we could clearly hear all words to the music played, it played well past 11:30 pm. We asked to please lower the volume multiple times, with no success. At ...

Greek Island cruise - like the smaller ship

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Jewel of the Seas

I think the captain said it best - he likes this class of ships best - the ship has the same propulsion as the largest ships with a smaller ship size. Thus making it the Maserati of the Sea. In February we took a larger ship and the lines for food and challenge of finding pool seating made for a bad experience. There were still the typical chair saving people on board which never works out ...

Third time on LOS - comparison to other two cruises

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Liberty of the Seas

We wanted to take our grandson age 11 on this ship as it had impressed us as a family ship on our two previous cruises on it in 2017 and 2018. However, the ship was overcrowded in my opinion and services were not up to par with our previous cruises on LOS. Our grandson had a wonderful time. But my husband and I and daughter/son-in-law felt that there was not enough for adults to do in the daytime. ...

Cruised with 27 others. Had family, friends and Niece and Nephew 17&18. HOTS june 2019. We all felt the free food was excellent except for Solarium poor service & food. I reserved two times for free dinner every night, Solarium 6pm and then also My Time Dining 8:30 since we had no idea of show times & did not want to miss since dinner service is alloted 2 HOURS every night. The room attendants and ...

I chose this cruise because I wanted to experience one of the mega-ships to see what it had to offer that smaller ships don't. I also had never been to the Caribbean so this seemed like an ideal cruise. Embarkation and disembarkation were extremely easy and quick. We checked in online weeks before leaving and were on the ship within minutes of arriving at Port Everglades. Our first ...

Will Never Cruise with Royal Caribbean Again

This was our first cruise and our last vacation as a family. We had so much planning and money that went into this vacation knowing it would be our last. Two months before we left we got a change in itinerary that shortened our stay in Puerto Rico and Labadee due to propeller problems on the ship. I understand RC can change itinerary at any time per the contract. However, during our trip there was ...

My wife and I are RCCL and Celebrity fans, so it's painful to report on a cruise that was far below expectations. First, I should note the positives: we decided to treat our three 14-year old grandchildren to a cruise, and, after much hand wringing, elected to book all five of us in a single veranda room -- one of the very few of its type. I was impressed by how well we were able to manage. ...

We chose this trip because it was at the right time for vacation. We were very excited to go because 2 of the ports we love. Well, first problem was we received an email telling us that we would have a shortened visit at San Juan because of a problem with the propulsion system on the ship. The next problem was that there was a medical emergency (of which they had no control) and the decision ...
